The 2002–03 season was Arsenal F.C., Arsenal Football Club's 11th season in the Premier League and their 77th consecutive season in the top flight of English football. The club retained the FA Cup, a feat last achieved by Tottenham Hotspur F.C., Tottenham Hotspur in 1982, but finished runners-up to Manchester United F.C., Manchester United in the Premier League. Richard Wright (footballer)
Richard Ian Wright (born 5 November 1977) is an English football coach and former professional footballer who is a goalkeeping coach for Premier League club Manchester City. As a player he was a goalkeeper. He joined Ipswich Town as a trainee, going on to play for the club 298 times between 1995 and 2001. He then moved to Premier League club Arsenal, before being signed by Everton in 2002, where he spent five years. A brief spell on loan from West Ham United with Southampton was followed by a transfer back to Ipswich Town. Alexander Manninger (born 4 June 1977) is an Austrian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Pascal Édouard Cygan (born 29 April 1974) is a French former footballer who played as a defender. His favoured position was central defender, but he could also play as a left back.
