2002 Dhaka Premier Division League
The 2002 Dhaka Premier Division League, also known as the National Bank Limited, National Bank Dhaka Premier Division League for sponsorship reasons, was the 50th season of the top-tier football league in Bangladesh and the 9th season of the Premier Division, following its succession from the Dhaka First Division Football League, First Division as the top-tier. A total of ten teams participated in the league which began on 15 July and ended on 24 September 2002. Venue The Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka was the main venue used for the league. Dhaka Premier Division Football League
Dhaka Senior Division Football League (), or the First Division Football League, is the third tier association football, football league in Bangladesh. Until 2006, it was the top-tier league of the country. It was established in 1948 as part of the Dhaka League, while modern-day Bangladesh was still part of Pakistan. Until 1971, it was run in parallel with the National Football Championship (Pakistan), National Football Championship in West Pakistan. The top-tier football league in Dhaka has seen numerous changes in both format and name. Initially, it was referred to as the First Division or Senior Division Football League. In 1993, a Dhaka Premier Division Football League was launched which was also re-introduced in its current version as the Dhaka Senior Division Football League. Badda Jagoroni Sangsad () is a Bangladeshi football club based in Badda, Dhaka. It currently competes in the Dhaka Senior Division League, the third-tier of Bangladeshi football. History Early years The club was founded in Badda, Dhaka through the re-organization of Naveen Krira Chakra in 1980. In the same year, they participated in the inaugural edition of the Pioneer League; however, the league ended without declaring a champion and runner-up team. In 1986, the club was crowned champion of the Pioneer League, edging out runners-up Matuail Jubo Sangha, as both teams were promoted to the Dhaka Third Division League. Mehedi Hasan Ujjal
Mehedi Hasan Ujjal (; born 26 April 1985) is a retired Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He spent majority of his career with Abahani Limited Dhaka. Ujjal made a name for himself in the Western Union Premier Division Football League during the early 2000s, while playing for Abahani. He represented Jhenaidah Mohammedan in the 2003 National League, scoring four goals including a hat-trick against Jamalpur Jagarani Club. Alfaz Ahmed
Alfaz Ahmed (; born: 6 June 1973) is a Bangladeshi football coach and former player who is currently the head coach of Mohammedan SC. He played for the Bangladesh national team from 1995 to 2008. He is seen as one of the best strikers to ever play for Bangladesh. He won three international trophies while playing for his country. Shahajuddin Tipu (; born 16 January 1974) is a retired Bangladeshi professional footballer who represented the in the Bangladesh national team from 1997 to 2005. Club career Tipu began his career with Eskaton Sabuj Sangha Club in the Dhaka First Division League in 1994. He was made the club captain the following year, as Eskaton were relegated to the Second Division, nonetheless, Tipu attracted the attention of Premier Division club Brothers Union, joining them in 1996. Rezaul Karim Liton (; born 11 December 1980) is a retired Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.
