2001–02 División De Honor De Hockey Patines
The 2001–02 División de Honor de Hockey Patines was the 33rd season of the top-tier league of rink hockey in Spain. Barcelona finished the league as champion, after beating Igualada 3–0 in the finals. Competition format Sixteen teams joined the league and the eight first qualified teams at the end of the regular season joined the playoffs. The three last teams were relegated to Primera División. Regular season Playoffs The quarterfinals were played with a best-of-three format, while semifinals and final were played with a best-of-five series. Seeded teams played games 1 and 3 of the quarterfinals and 1, 2 and 5 of the semifinals and finals at home. OK Liga
The OK Liga is the Spanish rink hockey league. History The league was founded in 1969 as División de Honor as an expansion to all the Spanish territory of the Catalan Championship. Until 1971 teams from outside Catalonia did not join the competition. The league changed its name to OK Liga in 2003 and in 2009 the playoffs for the title, that were established in the 2000–01 season, were abolished while several rules from other sports were approved. In April 2017, a new name change for the 2017–18 season was approved and the top tier would be renamed as the OK Liga Oro while the second tier as ''OK Liga Plata''. Also, a new national third tier competition ''OK Liga Bronce'' (with four interregional groups) was foreseen, but due to the lack of interested teams, it wasn't created and the third tier remained at regional level. CP Vic
Club Patí Vic is a Spanish rink hockey club based in Vic, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Founded in 1951, the club currently plays in the OK Liga, holding its home games at the Pavelló del Club Patí Vic, with capacity of 3,500 seats. History Founded in 1951, CP Vic is the oldest hockey club in the Catalan comarca of Osona. In the 1970s, the club acquired some terrains for its own development and its main arena was used for the 1992 Summer Olympics. In 1999, CP Vic won its first national title by conquering the Copa del Rey, repeating this achievement in 2009, 2010 and most recently, in 2015. The penalty shootout is a method of determining a winner in sports matches that would have otherwise been drawn or tied. Copa Del Rey De Hockey Patines
The Copa del Rey de Hockey Patines is an annual Spanish rink hockey competition which is contested by eight teams. It held every year at a neutral venue. The first eight teams in standings just to half-season take part in Copa del Rey. The Copa del Rey's winners play in the next edition of CERS Cup. Competition format Since 1999, the competition is played with a ''Final Eight'' format. At the end of the first half of the regular season, the top seven teams from the Spanish League and the host one, if it is not between these teams, qualify for the tournament. The eight teams play a play-off at one venue, over four days, eventually producing a winner. Hockey Club Liceo (also known as Deportivo Liceo for sponsorship reasons) is a Spanish rink hockey club based in A Coruña, Spain. Founded in 1972, Liceo is the only team from outside Catalonia to have won the Spanish league. History Founded in 1972 at the school Liceo La Paz, the club achieved the promotion to the first division in only seven years. In the 1980–81 season, only their second at the top tier, the club ended in the third position and secured the qualification to the World Skate Europe Cup.
