2000–01 Croatian Second Football League
The 2000–01 Druga HNL was the 10th season of Druga HNL, the second level league in Croatian football. The format of the league was unchanged from the 1999–2000 season. A total of 18 clubs competed in Druga HNL this season, in a double round-robin format. Due to the expansion of top level Prva HNL set for the 2001–02 season, four clubs were promoted at the end of season ( Kamen Ingrad, Pomorac Kostrena, Zadar and TŠK Topolovac, while Solin entered promotion playoff). Also, Druga HNL was split into two divisions the following season. The Prva nogometna liga (), commonly Prva NL or 1. NL, is the second tier of the football league system in Croatia. The league was formed in 1991 with the breakup of Yugoslavia and the dissolution of the Yugoslav Second League. The 1. NK Mosor
NK Mosor, also known as HBDNK "Mosor – Sveti Jure", was a Croatian football club from Žrnovnica, settlement which is part of the city of Split on the Croatian coast. The club was founded in 1929. It existed until World War II when most of its members enlisted in the army. When the war ended, the club had experienced such a high rate of fatalities that it was disbanded. In 1964 a team was once again formed. Since the 1990s the club has spent most of its time in the second division, never gaining promotion to the first league. Kamen Ingrad Stadium () is a football stadium in Velika, Croatia. It serves as home stadium for football club NK Kamen Ingrad, now NK Papuk Velika. The stadium has a capacity of 8,000 (7,095 as all-seater). The stadium was built in several stages in the period from 1997 to 2001, coinciding with the most successful spell that the club has had, when they competed in the Croatian top level league from 2001–2007. Stadion Aldo Drosina () is a multi-use stadium in Pula, Croatia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of NK Istra 1961 and formerly NK Istra.
