The 2000–01 Croatian Football Cup was the tenth edition of Croatia's football knockout competition. Hajduk Split were the defending champions, and it was won by Dinamo Zagreb. HNK Hajduk Split
Hrvatski Nogometni klub Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split (), is a Croatian professional Association football, football Football team, club based in Split, Croatia, Split, that competes in the Croatian First Football League, Croatian First League, the top tier in Croatian football. Since 1979, the club's home ground has been the 33,987-seater Stadion Poljud. The team's traditional home colours are white shirts with blue shorts and blue socks. The idea to form a football club was started by a group of Split students who were studying in Prague. After observing a game between SK Slavia Prague, Slavia and AC Sparta Prague, Sparta Prague, the group gathered at the U Fleků tavern and talked of creating a football club at home. NK Mosor
NK Mosor, also known as HBDNK "Mosor – Sveti Jure", was a Croatian football club from Žrnovnica, settlement which is part of the city of Split on the Croatian coast. The club was founded in 1929. It existed until World War II when most of its members enlisted in the army. When the war ended, the club had experienced such a high rate of fatalities that it was disbanded. In 1964 a team was once again formed. Since the 1990s the club has spent most of its time in the second division, never gaining promotion to the first league. NK Marsonia
NK Marsonia is a Croatian football club based in the city of Slavonski Brod. They currently play in the third division Treća HNL. NK Marsonia was founded in 1909. From 1945 to 1962 the club was called ''NK Radnički Brod'', and then ''BSK'' from 1962 to 1992 before the club's original name was restored. NK Marsonia last played in the top flight 1.HNL in 2004, finishing last and suffering relegation. On August 1, 2011, NK Marsonia merged with MV Croatia to form NK Marsonia 1909 which will compete in Croatian second division. NK Marsonia will continue functioning as the new club's second team. NK Karlovac
NK Karlovac 1919 is a Croatian football club based in the town of Karlovac. Karlovac plays their home matches at Stadion Branko Čavlović-Čavlek. History Traditionally lower-level minnows, the club's most successful period in the Yugoslav football league system was in the 1970s when they competed in the Yugoslav Second League. After the breakup of Yugoslavia and the formation of the Croatian football league system in 1992 Karlovac spent most of the time playing in Druga HNL and Treća HNL, second and third levels. Nogometni klub Zagora Unešić (), commonly referred to as NK Zagora Unešić or simply Zagora Unešić, is a Croatian football club based in Unešić. HNŠK Moslavina
HNŠK Moslavina is a Croatian football club based in the town of Kutina. History The club was founded as Hrvatski nogometni športski klub Moslavina (Croatian Football Sports Club Moslavina) in 1919 by group of students led by Milan Marcijuš, Zlatko Golner, Otokar Pavičić and Imbro Rechnitzer. In its first official game, Moslavina played host to Građanski from Pakrac and ended up losing 9–1. Over the following three decades, the team participated in regional competitions, before qualifying for the top Croatian football league competition (''Hrvatska nogometna liga'') in 1951 under the name Radnik Moslavina, as the club was called from 1946 to 1951. NK Kamen Ingrad
NK Kamen Ingrad was a Croatian football club from Velika, a small town near Požega in the northeast of Croatia. The club was dissolved in July 2008 after serious financial problems. History The club was formed as NK Velika in 1929. After World War II the club was renamed to NK Papuk. The current name was adopted in 1999, when the club's main sponsor became a local construction company called Kamen Ingrad. Since then the club advanced significantly, having been promoted to Prva HNL in 2002 and entering the UEFA Cup in 2003, losing to Schalke 1–0 on aggregate in the first round. Kamen Ingrad got relegated in the 2006–07 season after winning only 11 points in 33 matches and ending in 12th place. NK Čakovec
Nogometni Klub Čakovec (), commonly referred to as NK Čakovec or simply Čakovec, was a Croatian football club based in Čakovec, in the northern part of the country. The club folded in 2011. The club's arguably biggest success came when they won promotion to the Croatian First League in 2000. However, they only spent two seasons in the top flight before being relegated back to the Croatian Second League in 2002. In 2007, they finished bottom of the Croatian Second League and were relegated to the Croatian Third League, going on to end up playing in the fourth tier of Croatian football following another relegation in 2008.
