Djurgårdens IF Fotbollsförening – commonly known as Djurgårdens IF, Djurgården Fotboll (official name), Djurgården (), and (especially locally) Djurgår'n (), Dif or DIF – is a Swedish professional men's association football department of its parent association Djurgårdens IF. Founded 1891 on the island of Djurgården, the club's home ground is 3Arena_(Stockholm), 3Arena, situated in the Johanneshov district of Stockholm. Competing in the highest Swedish tier, Allsvenskan, the club has won the List of Swedish football champions, national title twelve times and the Svenska Cupen five times. Mikael Dorsin
Mikael Frank Dorsin (born 6 October 1981) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a left-back. He is the current Sporting Director of Rosenborg. Starting his career with Djurgårdens IF in the late 1990s, he went on to represent RC Strasbourg, Rosenborg, and CFR Cluj before retiring from professional football in 2016. A full international between 2001 and 2010, he won 16 caps for the Sweden national team and was a part of their UEFA Euro 2008 squad. Pa Dembo Touray (born 31 March 1980,), is the goalkeeper coach of Prespa Birlik. He is a former Gambian football goalkeeper and national team player for Gambia. Club career Touray, an English spelling of the name "Touré", began his footballing career with Real de Banjul F.C. in Gambia. In 2000, he moved to Stockholm in Sweden to play for Djurgårdens IF in the highest domestic league, Allsvenskan. Jones Kusi-Asare (born 21 May 1980) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. Born in Ghana, he represented Sweden at youth level. Career He started his career at Vasalunds IF in the Stockholm suburb of Solna. He was signed by Djurgården in 1998 and made his Allsvenskan against IFK Norrköping on 11 April 1999. Abgar Barsom
Abgar Barsom (born 4 September 1977) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career He made his first spell at Djurgården from 2000 to 2002, after having joined Djurgården from Forward. He was later sold to Heerenveen in the Netherlands, but his time at the Abe Lenstra Stadion was not successful. Consequently, Barsom returned to Sweden and Djurgården at the start of the 2004 season. He has won the Swedish championship twice, in 2002 and 2005. After the 2006 season, Barsom announced that he was looking for a new challenge in another club. He signed a six-month contract with Greek club Messiniakos in the second division. When his contract with Messiniakos ran out, he signed for Allsvenskan team Örebro.
