113 is a French hip hop group, including African and Caribbean roots originating in North and West Africa and the island of Guadeloupe, formed in their most famous song "Tonton du Bled" ("Uncle From The Land"; 'bled' being a term from Maghrebi Arabic). The group's name comes from the name of the building in a housing estate where the members spent much of their youth; additionally, it's a play on the US hip-hop group 112. Reda Tamni ( ar, رضى تمني; born 1980 in El Biar, Algiers), known by his stage name Reda Taliani ( ar, رضى الطلياني, link=no), is an Algerian raï singer and musician. He is a longtime resident from Aubagne, Provence, France. His music blends chaabi, raï and traditional musical styles of the Maghreb, and many of his songs depict the realities and aspirations of the Algerian youth. Career Born in El Biar, Algiers, from a Constantine-based family, Reda Taliani grew in Koléa, a town in Tipaza Province, in northern Algeria. His musical career started at 5 when he joined the Koléa Conservatory of Arab and Andalusian Music where he studied playing a number of instruments and excelled in playing the mandolin. He was captivated by raï music very early on and opted for leaving the more classical Andalusian music entirely devoting himself to raï. Magic System is an Ivory Coast, Ivorian coupé-décalé band from Abidjan. It was founded in 1996 and comprises Asalfo, Goude, Tino, and Manadja. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Mafia K-1 Fry sometimes stylized as Mafia K'1 Fry is a French collective of hip hop artists, rappers, beatboxers, DJs, MCs and music producers mostly coming from the Val-de-Marne and the Orly-Choisy-Vitry-Joinville axis (being locations in Orly - Choisy-le-Roi - Vitry-sur-Seine - Joinville-le-Pont), suburbs located south of Paris. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. AP (rapper)
Yohann Duport, better known by his stage name AP, based on "Al Pacino" (born in Vitry-sur-Seine, suburbs of Paris, France in 1979), is a French rapper whose parents originated from Guadeloupe in the French Antilles (French West Indies). In 1994, AP started rapping at the age of 15 in the Paris suburbs, mainly Vitry-sur-Seine. He became a founding member of music collective 113 alongside Rim'K and Mokobé and part of a bigger music project collective called Mafia K-1 Fry. He has also his own solo career including albums ''Discret'' released in 2009 where he is credited as AP du 113 with the album reaching #22 in SNEP French Albums Chart.
