The National Guard of Ukraine (NGU; , ; /NHU ) is the Ukrainian national gendarmerie and Internal Troops, internal military force. The 1st Operational Battalion named after the Hero of Ukraine Serhii Kulchytskyi is a volunteer Battalion of the 1st Presidential Operational Brigade (Ukraine), 1st Presidential Brigade, a part of the Offensive Guard (Ukraine), Offensive Guard of the National Guard of Ukraine.
