1TYM
1TYM (, pronounced as "One Time") was a four-member South Korean group. They were Teddy Park (also known as Park Hong-jun), Oh Jinhwan, Song Baekyoung, and Danny Im (also known as Im Taebin). History In the late 1990s, YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk had his trainees perform as a group named MF family which was named after an apparel brand called Majah Flavah! created by Sean of the Korean hiphop group Jinusean. The group initially had seven members, which three of them later departed. They originally participated in the song "No more(이제 더 이상)"in the album "The Real" by Jinusean as a featured artist in January 1998. Teddy and Danny grew up in Los Angeles and were discovered there when they were teenagers by a producer who worked with Yang Hyun-suk. Teddy Park
Teddy Park (born Park Hong-jun on September 14, 1978) is a Korean Americans, Korean–American Rapping, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Park moved to the United States with his family as a young child. When he was 17 years old, Park and his friend Taebin, Danny flew to South Korea during summer vacation to audition for YG Entertainment. Both were signed immediately, and after finishing high school in the States, moved to Korea to pursue music. In 1998, Park debuted in the hip hop music, hip hop group 1TYM with his friend Danny, Jinhwan, and Baekyoung. Together, the group recorded five studio albums with Park as their primary songwriter and producer. After his performing career with 1TYM ended in January 2006, Park became an in-house producer for YG Entertainment and co-founded The Black Label in 2016. Danny Im (born May 6, 1980), better known by stage name Taebin (), is an American singer and television host. He debuted as a member of the hip hop group 1TYM in 1998, and he released his first solo album in 2004. Im began hosting the Mnet America talk show ''Danny From L.A.'' in 2012. Early life Danny Im grew up in Diamond Bar, California. He attended Diamond Bar High School with future fellow 1TYM member Teddy Park, and graduated in 1998. Hwang Hyo-sook (; born May 3, 1979), better known by her stage name Lexy (Hangul: 렉시), is a South Korean singer and rapper who debuted in 2003 under YG Entertainment. She was the first solo female rap artist to debut under the company. Jinusean (stylized in all caps; ) is a South Korean Hip hop music, hip hop duo signed to YG Entertainment. The duo, which is made up of Kim Jin-woo (also known as Jinu) and Noh Seung-hwan (also known as Sean), debuted in 1997 and rose to fame with the single, "Tell Me."
