Qatar Stars League
The Qatar Stars League (; abbreviated as QSL), known as Ooredoo Stars League for sponsorship reasons, is the top level football league in Qatar football league system. Contested by 12 teams, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Qatari Second Division (QSD), with the lowest ranked club at the end of the QSL season being demoted to make room for the promotion of the highest ranked QSD club of the season. The QSL season usually runs from September to April. The league's first season was played in 1963, although the first official season occurred in 1972. The Qatari league system provides 5 domestic cups that various clubs can compete for: the Emir of Qatar Cup, open to all teams in both the first and second divisions; the Qatar Crown Prince Cup, a postseason tournament played by the top four first division teams; the Sheikh Jassem Cup, a prelude to the first division regular season; the Qatari Stars Cup, a round-robin tournament played midseason; and the ...

Al-Khor Sports Club () is a Qatari professional sports club based in the city of Al Khor. Al-Khor SC is best known for its football team, which competes in the Qatar Stars League from the 2024-25 season again after a short absence of 2 years in Qatari Second Division. It plays its home games at Al-Khor Stadium. History Foundation Al-Khor was unofficially established in 1951 by oil workers to fulfill them with the appropriate facility to invest their energy after their participation with the multinational oil companies at the time. In 1961, the club was re-established and set football as its main sport, along with other sports and activities. There were two other clubs in Al Khor, but none of the clubs cooperated. Radhi Shenaishil Swadi (; born 11 August 1966) is a former Iraqi footballer and former coach of the Iraq national football team. Playing career Radhi Shenaishil was born and brought up in Al-Thawra City in Baghdad. He captained an Iraqi Under 20s team and helped them to top their group which included Spain, Norway and Argentina, who they beat 1–0 with Radhi scoring the winner from a penalty against a side featuring Diego Simeone and Roberto Bonano in the FIFA World Youth Championship in Saudi Arabia in 1989. The libero was voted into the Asian Cup select team XI at the 1996 Asian Cup with teammate Laith Hussein after helping Iraq to the quarter-finals. Jérémie N'Jock (born 12 March 1980) is a Cameroonian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Football career N'Jock as born in Bafoussam, Cameroon. Reinhard Fabisch (19 August 1950 – 12 July 2008) was a German football manager and player. He coached teams in Qatar, Malta, Tunisia, Nepal, Oman, United Arab Emirates, and Zimbabwe and the national teams of Zimbabwe, Kenya, and Benin. Playing career As a player Fabisch was signed to Borussia Dortmund between 1969 and 1971 although he did not play for the senior team. Qatar Sports Club () is a sports club based in Doha, Qatar. It is best known for its football team which competes in the Qatar Stars League. The club was founded in 1961 with the merger of two Qatari football clubs, Al-Oruba and Al-Nasour. They play their home games in the Qatar SC Stadium, which can accommodate 13,000 spectators.
