Philsports Arena
The Philippine Institute of Sports Multi-Purpose Arena or PhilSports Arena is an indoor sporting arena located inside the PhilSports Complex in Pasig, Philippines. It was formerly known as the University of Life Theater and Recreational Arena or the ULTRA. The arena is part of the PhilSports Complex which is maintained by the Philippine Sports Commission. It was the site of the majority of the games of the Philippine Basketball Association from 1985 to 1992 and from 1999 to 2002. The league still occasionally comes back to play at the arena. The arena was also the home court of the Pasig-Rizal Pirates in the Metropolitan Basketball Association in 1998 and the San Juan Knights in 1999. Noli Locsin
Luis Manuel B. Locsin (born October 19, 1971), better known as Noli Locsin, is a Filipino retired professional basketball player. Dubbed as "The Tank", He is best known for his playing years with the Ginebra San Miguel franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association. Playing career Locsin played for the RP Youth team in 1990 before suiting up for back-to-back UAAP titlist De La Salle Green Archers. He had a brief stint with Triple-V Foodmasters in the Philippine Basketball League prior to its disbandment and then played for Nikon Electric Fan which completed a cinderella finish in the PBL. Ali Peek
Albert Henry "Ali" Peek (born February 13, 1975) is a Filipino-American retired professional basketball player who played in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). During his playing days, he played mostly at the center position, although he was also used as a power forward occasionally. Early life Peek was born in Hawaii but grew up in California. His Filipino mother Marlene, traces her roots in Manila. His grandfather, a member of the Philippine Constabulary, was from Tuguegarao, while his grandmother was from Ilocos Norte. Andy Seigle
Andrew John Seigle (born May 15, 1972) is a Filipino-American retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association. He was also a member of the Philippine national basketball team. He is the brother of Danny Seigle, also a basketball player in the same league. Their mother, Blesylda Yadao, is of Chinese Filipino descent while his father is a White American. Career He was considered one of the most dominant and best defensive players early in his PBA Career. He spent most of his time in his last season on the sidelines rather than on the court as he played only 30 games and just 8.9 minutes of playing time per outing, due to ACL injuries in both knees. Danny Seigle
Daniel Charles Seigle (born June 14, 1976) is a Filipino-American basketball coach and retired player. He is the head coach of the De La Salle Green Archers men's basketball team and a team consultant for the San Miguel Alab Pilipinas of the ASEAN Basketball League. He last played for the TNT KaTropa of the Philippine Basketball Association. He won the 1999 PBA Rookie of the Year and led San Miguel to six championships (out of a total of eight) during his career. He is also a two-time member of the Philippine national basketball team. Amateur career Seigle starred for his high school basketball team, leading them to winning 59 consecutive games and a state title. Danny Ildefonso
Danilo Ildefonso (born December 9, 1976) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He is currently an assistant coach for both the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the NU Bulldogs of the UAAP. Nicknamed "Danny I", "The Demolition Man" and "Lakáy", Ildefonso is a two-time PBA Most Valuable Player in 2000 and 2001 and is one of the four players to win the said award on back-to-back seasons, along with Bogs Adornado, Alvin Patrimonio, and June Mar Fajardo. Eric Menk
Eric Conrad Menk (born August 24, 1974) is a Filipino-American former professional basketball player who played in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the Asean Basketball League. Known as Major Pain, Menk is a four-time PBA champion and was the 2004–05 PBA Most Valuable Player. Menk had played for the Barangay Ginebra franchise for twelve seasons before being waived and signed by the San Miguel Beermen of the ASEAN Basketball League. Jason Pagaspas Webb (born September 23, 1973) is a Filipino basketball coach and former basketball player. Playing career Webb played collegiate basketball for the De La Salle Green Archers from 1991 to 1995. After college, he played for Stag/Tanduay in the Philippine Basketball League (1995-1997). Webb began his PBA career in 1997 with the Sta. Lucia Realtors. After two seasons, he played for the Tanduay Rhum Masters (1999-2001). Victor Pablo
Victor Pablo (born August 8, 1970) is a retired Filipino professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association. Playing career A former king Tamaraw at Far Eastern University, Pablo was the second overall pick in the 1993 PBA draft. He was drafted by Ginebra San Miguel but failed to reach an agreement with the Gins and was subsequently traded to Pepsi in exchange for center Manny Victorino. At Pepsi, he rejoined coach Derrick Pumaren, his former coach at Triple-V Foodmasters during his PBL days. Earl Timothy Cone (born December 14, 1957) is an American professional basketball coach who is the head coach of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
