1998–99 Ukrainian Cup
The 1998–99 Ukrainian Cup was the eighth annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition, also known as ''Kubok of Ukraine''. The Cup began with a Preliminary Round . The winners of this competition will enter as Ukraine's Cup Winner representative in the UEFA Cup for 1999—2000 season. Football Sports Club Bukovyna Chernivtsi is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Chernivtsi. History The club was established in 1958 as Avanhard Chernivtsi (Avangard Chernovtsy) for republican competitions and became the first club from Chernivtsi Oblast to be added to the Soviet Class B competition in 1960. Before 1958 Chernivtsi were presented several times by various teams in republican competitions like Burevisnyk (1956), Dynamo (1948, 1950–1955), Spartak (1946, 1947, 1949), Lokomotyv (1949). Narodnyy Klub Veres Rivne ( uk, РНК «Верес») is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Rivne. The team has been featured in the Ukrainian Second League, since it cannot be promoted to the Ukrainian First League, being a junior team from the FC Dynamo Kyiv franchise, which already has its 2nd tier team (FC Dynamo-2 Kyiv) in the First League.
