The 1997–98 Magyar Kupa (English: ''Hungarian Cup'') was the 59th season of Hungary's annual knock-out cup football competition. MTK Hungária FC, MTK Hungária, Újpest FC, Újpest, Ferencvárosi TC, Ferencváros, Vasas SC, Vasas and Budapesti VSC, BVSC joined the tournament in the round of 32 as participants of European competitions. MTK Budapest FC
Magyar Testgyakorlók Köre Budapest Futball Club or shortly MTK is a professional Association football, football club based in Józsefváros, Budapest, Hungary. The club currently plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. The club's colours are blue and white. As one of the most successful Hungarian football clubs, MTK has won the Hungarian League 23 times and the Hungarian Cup 12 times. The club has also won the Hungarian Super Cup twice. Szabadegyháza is a village in Fejér county, Hungary. History Szabadegyháza's history dates back to Roman times, with evidence of Roman presence found in archaeological excavations, including tomb covers, ceramic fragments, bronze fibulae, and coins. Bodajk FC Siófok, generally shortened to BFC Siófok, is a Hungarian football club based in Siófok, a small town on the shores of Lake Balaton. The club was founded in 1921 as ''Siófok SE''.
