Alexander Herr
Alexander Herr (born 4 October 1978 in Furtwangen im Schwarzwald, Baden-Württemberg) is a German former ski jumper who competed 1993 to 2006, then came out of retirement in 2009 to compete in the 2010 Winter Olympics. He won a bronze medal in the normal at the Junior World Ski Championships in Harrachov in 1993 and won two medals at the 2001 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti with a gold in the team large hill and a bronze in the team normal hill events. He also finished third in the team event at the FIS Ski-Flying World Championships 2006 (15 January). Herr's best individual finish was 2nd in the large hill in Kuusamo (Finland) on 27 November 2004. Christof Duffner (born 16 December 1971) is a West German/German former ski jumper. Career He won a gold medal in the team large hill event at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. Martin Schmitt (; born 29 January 1978) is a German former ski jumper who competed from 1997 to 2014. Oberhof is a town in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen Districts of Germany, district of Thuringia, Germany. Jakub Janda
Jakub Janda (; born 27 April 1978) is a Czech politician and former ski jumper. In ski jumping he competed from 1996 to 2017, winning the gold medal in the 2005–06 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup as the 2006 World Champion. He also won the 2005/06 Four Hills Tournament (shared with Janne Ahonen), as well as silver and bronze medals at the 2005 World Championships. Janda is one of the most successful ski jumpers from the Czech Republic, and is the only Czech World Cup champion to date. Jaroslav Sakala (; born 14 July 1969) is a former ski jumper who competed for Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. Career He entered his first World Cup competition on 15 January 1989 in Harrachov. His first big success was at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville with a bronze medal in the team large hill. Sakala finished second in the 1992-93 Overall World Cup ski jumping and fourth the following season. Robert Mateja (born 5 October 1974) is a Polish former ski jumper who competed from 1992 to 2008. His best individual World Cup finishes were fifth in Harrachov (large hill) on 14 December 1996, and fifth again in Sapporo on 28 January 2001. Wolfgang Loitzl (born 13 January 1980) is an Austrian former ski jumper. He was the winner of the 2008–09 Four Hills Tournament and the 2009 Normal Hill World Champion. Career He won seven medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with seven golds (Individual normal hill: 2009, Team normal hill: 2001, 2005; Team large hill: 2005, 2007, 2009, 2013) and one bronze (Team large hill: 2001). He earned a bronze medal in the team event at the FIS Ski-Flying World Championships 2004 and finished 15th at the individual competition at those same championships. Loitzl has seven individual career victories from 1998 to 2003. Loitzl won the 2008–09 Four Hills Tournament.
