1995 Supercupa României
The 1995 Supercupa României was the second edition of Romania's season opener cup competition. The match was played in Bucharest at Stadionul Regie on 5 August 1995, and was contested between Divizia A title holders, Steaua București and Cupa României champions, Petrolul Ploieşti. Supercupa României
The Supercupa României () is a Romanian football (soccer), football championship contested by the winners of the Liga I and the Cupa României. It is usually played at the Arena Națională in Bucharest. The competition started off in 1994 Supercupa României, 1994, with the first edition being won by FCSB, Steaua București. In 2010 Supercupa României, 2010, for the first time in its history, the Supercup was held even though CFR Cluj had been victorious in both the league and the cup in the previous season. At that time, they faced FC Unirea Urziceni, Unirea Urziceni, the Liga I runners-up. The most successful performer so far is FC FCSB, FCSB winning the competition 7 times. Sponsorship On 22 July 2005, FRF and Samsung Electronics signed a one-year sponsorship deal. The name of the competition was changed to ''Supercupa României Samsung'' for the 2005 and 2006 editions. Anton DoboÈ™
Anton "Toni" Doboș (born 13 October 1965) is a former Romanian professional footballer who played as a centre back. Career Doboș made his debut for the national team in 1993, and got 23 caps, the last in 1998. He and was in the squad for the 1998 World Cup and Euro 1996. Gheorghe Leahu
Gheorghe Aurelian Leahu (born 30 September 1968) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a defender and midfielder. Club career Leahu, nicknamed ''Cuchi'' was born on 30 September 1968 in Fieni, Romania, starting to play junior level football in 1981 at local club, Cimentul. In 1990 he started his senior career at Divizia B club, Flacăra Moreni. In 1992 he went to play for first league side, Argeș Pitești but did not made any league appearances. In the middle of the season he went at Petrolul Ploiești where he made his Divizia A debut on 14 March 1993 in a 1–0 away loss to Rapid București. Valeriu Răchită
Valeriu "Vivi" Răchită (born 30 May 1970) is a Romanian former footballer and current manager. Playing career A central defender, he spent most of his career in Romania with Steaua București and Petrolul Ploiești, winning a combined five domestic honours with them. Răchită also had brief stints in the country at FC Onești, Farul Constanța and FC Universitatea Craiova, as well as at Ankaragücü and Litex Lovech abroad. Managerial career Răchită began coaching in 2005 at Petrolul Ploiești, and continued his early managerial career at Chimia Brazi and rivals from Astra Ploiești. Dumitru Dumitriu (born 19 November 1945 in Bucharest), commonly known as Țiți Dumitru or Dumitriu III, is a retired Romanian footballer and coach. He is the younger brother of Emil Dumitriu ''(Dumitriu II)'' who was an International footballer and champion of Romania with Rapid București and the elder brother of Constantin Dumitriu ''(Dumitriu IV)'' who won the Romanian championship with Steaua București. Laurențiu Dumitru Roșu (born 26 October 1975) is a Romanian football manager and former player. After four seasons at Steaua București, he spent nine years as a professional in Spain – eight in the two major divisions, where he amassed totals of 222 games and 45 goals – representing three clubs, mostly Numancia and Recreativo.
