NK Mura
Nogometni klub Mura (), commonly referred to as NK Mura or simply Mura, was a Slovenian association football club based in Murska Sobota. The club was founded on 16 August 1924 as one of the first clubs in the Prekmurje region. The club had its golden years in the 1990s when they won the Slovenian Football Cup. During this period they were also the runners-up of the Slovenian PrvaLiga on two occasions. They played their home matches at Fazanerija City Stadium. NK Mura was dissolved during the 2004–05 season after the club failed to obtain competition licences issued by the Football Association of Slovenia. The club was allowed to finish the 2004–05 season, which was already in progress, and after finishing eighth in the national championship, Mura effectively ceased all operations. ND Slovan
Nogometno društvo Slovan or simply ND Slovan is a Slovenian football club based in Ljubljana that competes in the Slovenian Second League, the second tier of Slovenian football. The team play their home matches at the Kodeljevo Sports Park. The traditional colours of the club are red and white. History The club was founded in 1913 and has held its original name since then. They have won the Slovenian Republic League twice, in 1965 and 1983, and participated in the Yugoslav Second League in 1965–66 and 1983–84. Slovan also won the Slovenian Republic Cup in 1982. Nogometni klub Serdica () or simply NK Serdica is a Slovenian football club from Serdica that competes in the 1. MNL Murska Sobota, the fifth level of Slovenian football. Founded in 1974, their club colours are black and white. History On 21 April 1974, about 40 people founded a football club in Serdica. The same day, Karel Horvat was elected as the first club president. Serdica made their Slovenian Football Cup debut in the 1994–95 season, when they were defeated at home by NK Mura with the score of 9–1 in front of over 1,000 spectators, which is also the club's highest home attendance. Nogometni klub Korotan Prevalje (), commonly referred to as NK Korotan Prevalje or simply Korotan, was a Slovenian football club from Prevalje, which played a total of nine seasons in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, the highest level of football in Slovenia. The club was dissolved during the 2002–03 Slovenian PrvaLiga season, when they folded after only eleven rounds due to financial reasons. A successor club which claims rights to Korotan's honours and records was established in 2002 under the name DNŠ Prevalje. History Kovinar Maribor was founded on 25 May 1947 and was located in the Tezno District of Maribor. During the booming economy in Maribor after the World War II, the club was financially supported by the local engineering industry company Metalna Maribor and the vehicle manufacturer TAM, both based in Tezno.
