Aragvi Dusheti
FC Aragvi ( ka, საფეხბურთო კლუბი არაგვი) is a Georgian association football club. Following the 2024 season, the team was relegated to Liga 3, the third tier of Georgian football. Although registered in Dusheti, Aragvi have not played there since 2019, holding home matches in Mtskheta, Tbilisi and Sartichala instead. History Established in 1954, during the Soviet period Aragvi mainly participated in the East group of Georgian republican league 2. In the 2008–09 season, the team played in the Meore Liga. Shiola Shiolashvili led the team to first place in the third tier. Magaroeli Chiatura
FC Magaroeli is a Georgian football club from Chiatura. Since the 2023 season they have been competing in Regionuli Liga, the fifth tier of Georgian football. The team has twice participated in the top tier. History Formed in 1923, Chiatura won the Georgian championship in 1975, and also clinched the domestic Cup title in 1978 and 1979. The club spent four seasons in the Soviet Second league. In 1992/93 season the club finished second in Pirveli Liga which paved the way for Umaglesi Liga in 1993/94. Magaroeli participated in the top flight also in 1997/98. Between 2004 and 2017 the club spent 13 successive seasons in Liga 2. At one point the club came close to another promotion. After winning the 2007–08 season with a 23-point margin, they beat Gagra on penalties in champions play-offs, although Chiatura eventually had to give up their Umaglesi Liga place after their failure to meet the criteria existing for top-flight clubs. FC Mertskhali ( ka, საფეხბურთო კლუბი მერცხალი ოზურგეთი; English: Swallows) is a professional football club based in Ozurgeti, Guria, Georgia. The team competes in Liga 4, the fourth tier of Georgian football. Mertskhali have spent four seasons in Umaglesi Liga, the top Georgian division. History Early period Founded in 1936, the team finished 2nd in Division 2 in 1938 and advanced to the main league of the Soviet Georgian championship. In 1958, they claimed their first bronze medals. In the next two years Mertskhali twice clinched the Republican Cup. Also, in 1964 and 1966 the club again came the third, and in 1967 became a winner of the league, which paved the way for their participation in the Soviet championship. FC Bakhmaro Chokhatauri
FC Bakhmaro ('' Georgian'': საფეხბურთო კლუბი ბახმარო) is a Georgian association football club based in Chokhatauri. The club currently competes in Liga 3, the third tier of the national football system. History FC Bakhmaro have never participated in the top division of Georgian football. In the 1990s they took part in the second league for several seasons and in the mid-2010s the club mostly played in the third division, where they usually stayed in top half of the table. Despite coming 2nd in their group in 2016, Bakhmaro left the third tier in view of reorganization of the entire league system, which meant relegation for a vast majority of clubs. FC Egrisi ( Georgian: საფეხბურთო კლუბი ეგრისი) is a Georgian association football club based in the town of Senaki. The club competes in Regionuli Liga, the fifth tier of the national football system. The team has played one season in the top flight. History The club had different names in 1940–60s and as Spartaki, Gantiadi, Tsiskari and Kolkheti participated in the Georgian domestic league. In a most memorable event in 1970, they won the republican Cup competition. Since then, the football club has been competing under the current name. The Antsi (Anchi) language or Mag-antsi (also Mag-Anchi Ayta) is a Sambalic language with around 4,200 speakers. Imedi Media Holding ( ka, იმედი მედია ჰოლდინგი) is a private television and radio company in Georgia. The stations were founded by the Georgian media tycoon Badri Patarkatsishvili. The station mainly concentrates on news and analytical coverage, but broadcasts pop music as well, particularly at nighttime. Imedi means "hope" in Georgian. Armazi Tbilisi
Armazi ( ka, არმაზი) is a locale in Georgia, 4 km southwest of Mtskheta and 22 km northwest of Tbilisi. A part of historical Greater Mtskheta, it is a place where the ancient city of the same name and the original capital of the early Georgian kingdom of Kartli or Iberia was located. It particularly flourished in the early centuries AD and was destroyed by the Arab invasion in the 730s. Archaeology Minor excavations on the territory of Armazi carried out in 1890 revealed the plinth of adobe town walls, with stone steps, and cleared the two-room structure, where fragments of a woman's torso of the 1st century AD were discovered. From 1943 to 1948 large-scale excavation was undertaken under Andria Apakidze of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, resumed in 1985 and continuing.
