1994–95 Liga Indonesia Premier Division
The 1994–95 Liga Indonesia Premier Division (known as the Liga Alfred Dunhill Limited, Dunhill for sponsorship reasons) was the inaugural season of the Liga Indonesia Premier Division, the top division of Indonesian football following the merger of Perserikatan and Galatama. The season began on 27 November 1994 and ended on 30 July 1995. The league was made up of 34 clubs. Persib Bandung, Persib won the title after beating Petrokimia Putra 1–0 in the final. Overview Background The league started in 1994. The lack of ticket sales in Galatama and the lack of commercial aspects in Perserikatan made PSSI take a bold decision. Liga Indonesia Premier Division (Indonesian language, Indonesian: ''Divisi Utama Liga Indonesia'') was the second-tier of the Indonesian football league system, football competition system in Indonesia, organized by PSSI. The competition started in 1994 as a top-tier division in the Indonesian football league system. Prior to the formation of Indonesia Super League in 2008, the Premier Division was the Indonesian top-flight football league. Along with Indonesia Super League, Premier Division is a fully professional competition. Liga Indonesia
The Indonesian football league system is a series of league system for association football clubs in Indonesia. Since 1994, Liga Indonesia is the league competition featuring association football clubs, as a result of two existing top-flight football leagues merger: Perserikatan (amateur) and Galatama (semi professional). Liga Indonesia is managed by PSSI, the Indonesian national football federation, and operated by Liga Indonesia Baru, PT. Liga Indonesia Baru and its previous iterations (Badan Liga Indonesia from 1994–2008, PT Liga Indonesia from 2008–2015 and PT Gelora Trisula Semesta 2016). Persiraja Banda Aceh
Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Kutaraja, commonly known as Persiraja, is an Indonesian professional football club based in Banda Aceh, Aceh. They currently compete in the Liga 2. They play their home matches either at Harapan Bangsa Stadium or H. Dimurthala Stadium. Their most memorable achievements is when they became champion of Perserikatan in 1980. History Persiraja Banda Aceh was founded as a semi-professional team on 28 July 1957, initiated by PSSI. The name change from previous ''Persib Banda'' to its current name is unknown to the public. 2017 Liga 1
The 2017 Liga 1, also known as Go-Jek Traveloka Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the inaugural season of Liga 1 under its current name and the 8th season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. It was the first official professional league season held post-FIFA sanction. The season started on 15 April 2017 and ended on 12 November 2017. Fixtures for the 2017 season were announced on 11 April 2017. 2014 Indonesia Super League winners Persib were the defending champions, as the 2015 Indonesia Super League was abandoned midway due to FIFA suspension while the 2016 Indonesia Soccer Championship A was not counted as an official league. Sylvano Dominique Comvalius (born 10 August 1987) is a Dutch professional football coach and former player who played as a forward. He is currently the assistant coach of AZ U19. Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (; literally "Bung Karno Sports Arena Main Stadium"), formerly Senayan Main Stadium and Gelora Senayan Main Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located at the center of the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. Dejan Gluščević (born June 21, 1967) is a Serbian former footballer and manager. Playing career Gluščević made his debut in professional football playing with FK Radnički Beograd in the 1990–91 Yugoslav Second League. He scored an impressive 13 goals in 25 appearances. The next year, due to the break-up of Yugoslavia, Radnički played in the 1991–92 Yugoslav First League and impressed again by scoring 15 goals in 28 appearances.
