Parma F.C., Parma Associazione Calcio once again troubled the top teams in both Italy and Europe, but had to settle for just the curtain-raising UEFA Super Cup as silverware in its ambitious ascent towards the top of Italian football. It almost repeated the victory in the 1992–93 European Cup Winners' Cup, 1992–93 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup by reaching another 1994 European Cup Winners' Cup Final, final, but lost out to Arsenal F.C., Arsenal. The purchase of Gianfranco Zola from S.S.C. Napoli, Napoli was successful, given his second place in the topscoring charts, beaten only by Giuseppe Signori of S.S. Lazio, Lazio. David Balleri
David Balleri (born 28 March 1969) is an Italian former footballer who played as a defender. Career On 22 October 2006, Balleri played his 300th Serie A match, in a 0–0 tie against Siena; he had played his first Serie A match on 8 September 1993. In 2009–10 season he played for Pro Livorno in Prima Categoria Toscana. He retired after obtaining a UEFA A coaching license, which made him eligible to coach Lega Pro teams. Georges Serge Grün (born 25 January 1962) is a retired Belgian football defender, who currently works as a television presenter for the UEFA Champions League matches at RTL TVI. Club career Grün started his career with Anderlecht in Belgium, where he spent eight seasons, winning the UEFA Cup in 1983, as well as three consecutive Belgian First Division titles between 1984 and 1987, among other trophies; he also reached another UEFA Cup final with the club in 1984, where they lost out to English side Tottenham, however. Alberto Di Chiara (; born 29 March 1964) is an Italian former professional footballer, who played for Roma, Reggiana, Lecce, Fiorentina, Parma and Perugia, as well as for the Italy national side, as a winger and full back. Roberto Néstor Sensini (born 12 October 1966) is an Argentine football manager and former player, who played as a centre-back or defensive midfielder. As a player with the Argentina national team, he finished third place in the 1989 Copa América edition of the tournament. Marco Ballotta (born 3 April 1964) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. His professional career spanned a quarter of a century, but he was never capped for the Italy national team.
