Petr Korda
Petr Korda (born 23 January 1968) is a Czech former professional tennis player. He was ranked world No. 2 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in February 1998. Korda won ten singles titles, including the 1998 Australian Open, and was the runner-up at the 1992 French Open. Korda tested positive for doping in July 1998 at Wimbledon, and was banned from September 1999 for 12 months, retiring from the sport shortly before the ban. He is the father of professional golfers Jessica Korda and Nelly Korda, and of professional tennis player Sebastian Korda. Tennis career Juniors Korda first came to the tennis world's attention as a promising junior player. Paul Vincent Nicholas Haarhuis (; born 19 February 1966) is a Dutch tennis coach and a former professional player. He is a former world No. 1 doubles player, having reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 18 in November 1995. He has won 54 doubles titles, including six Grand Slam titles, five with Jacco Eltingh, and one with Yevgeny Kafelnikov. Thomas Buchmayer (born 14 February 1971) is a former professional tennis player from Austria. Biography Buchmayer, a left-handed player from Sankt Pölten, was coached by Jan Kukal. Turning professional in 1989, he made the round of 16 as a wildcard at Kitzbühel that year, withs wins over Tomás Carbonell and world number 12 Alberto Mancini. In 1991 he made his debut for the Austria Davis Cup team and featured in two World Group ties. He played a reverse singles match in the first, against Czechoslovakia in Prague, which he won over Karel Nováček, but the Austrians had already lost the tie. Thomas Gollwitzer (born 24 July 1966) is a former professional tennis player from Germany. Biography Gollwitzer, the eldest son of architect Hans and gym teacher Lisbeth, was born in Deggendorf, West Germany. He began playing tennis aged eight and turned professional in 1991. As a qualifier at the 1992 CA-TennisTrophy in Vienna he made it to the quarter-finals, in a run which included a win over world number 26 Andrei Cherkasov. Anders Per Järryd (; born 13 July 1961) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. During his career he won eight Grand Slam doubles titles (three French Open, two Wimbledon, two US Open, one Australian Open), reached the world No. 1 doubles ranking, and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 5. David Prinosil
David Prinosil (; born 9 March 1973) is a former tennis player from Germany, who turned professional in 1991. Prinosil was born in Olomouc, Czechoslovakia, but later moved to Germany. He represented his country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, where he was defeated in the first round by Daniel Vacek of the Czech Republic. In the doubles competition in Stone Mountain Park he won the bronze medal partnering Marc-Kevin Goellner. He was the first opponent of Tim Henman in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament, in the first round of Wimbledon in 1994. Gerald Mandl
Gerald Mandl (born 12 November 1970) is a former professional tennis player from Austria. Biography A left-hander from Sankt Johann, Mandl first represented Austria at Davis Cup level in 1991, for a World Group qualifier against Great Britain in Manchester. His loss in the doubles with Thomas Muster gave the tie to the home side and he got a consolation win in the reverse singles by beating Jeremy Bates. When he next played for Austria in 1992 it was in another World Group qualifier, against Canada in Vancouver. He teamed up with Alex Antonitsch to beat Grant Connell and Glenn Michibata in the doubles, over five sets, which gave Austria a 2–1 lead. Antonitsch then won in the reverse singles to secure Austria's place in the World Group for 1993. Per Christian Bergström (born 19 July 1967) is a former tennis player from Sweden, who turned professional in 1985.
