Regular Season
In an organized sports league, a typical season is the portion of one year in which regulated games of the sport are in session: for example, in Major League Baseball the season lasts approximately from the last week of March to the last week of September. Vyacheslav Bykov
Vyacheslav Arkadevich "Slava" Bykov (, born 24 July 1960) is a Russian former professional ice hockey player and a former head coach of the Russian national hockey team. A small, technically gifted center, he was a regular fixture on the Soviet national ice hockey team in the 1980s; after the fall of the Soviet Union, he played for the Russian team in the 1990s. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft in the 9th round at number 169 overall. He opted, however, not to play in the National Hockey League, playing in Russia and Europe. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2014. Patrick Howald
Patrick Howald (born December 26, 1969) is a Swiss people, Swiss former professional ice hockey Winger (ice hockey), winger. Career Howald played in the National League (ice hockey), Nationalliga A for SC Bern, HC Lugano and HC Fribourg-Gottéron. He won four National League A Championships with SC Bern and the number 22 jersey was retired by the team in his honour. He was drafted 276th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft but remained in Switzerland throughout his career and never played in North America. Alan Haworth (ice Hockey)
Alan Joseph Gordon Haworth (born September 1, 1960) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player, who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) between 1980 and 1988. He is the son of Gordie Haworth and the brother of Carey Haworth. Playing career Selected in the 1979 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres, Haworth was traded to the Washington Capitals in 1982. After five seasons in Washington, he was dealt to the Quebec Nordiques in 1987 in the trade that brought Dale Hunter to the Capitals. After one season in Quebec, Haworth opted to play in Switzerland for four seasons, winning two Swiss championships with SC Bern, before retiring from active play.
