The 1991–92 Iraq FA Cup was the 15th edition of the Iraq FA Cup as a club competition. The tournament was won by Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya for the second time in their history, beating Al-Tayaran (now known as Al-Khutoot Al-Jawiya) 2–1 in the final. Iraq FA Cup
The Iraq Cup (), commonly known as the Iraq FA Cup, is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in men's domestic Football in Iraq, Iraqi football organised by the Iraq Football Association. First held in the 1948–49 season for clubs and institutions, it returned in the 1975–76 season as a clubs-only competition. The tournament usually begins with several rounds played between lower division clubs, twelve of which advance to the Round of 32, where the Iraq Stars League clubs are entered. This is followed by the Round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final which is played as a single leg in Baghdad. The winners of the competition are awarded a place in the next season's AFC Champions League Two group stage. Al-Tijara Sport Club (''Trade SC'', ) is an Iraqi professional football club based in Baghdad, that competes in the Iraqi Second Division League. History In Premier League Al-Tijara was founded in 1974 as Al-Iktisad as an amalgamation of Ministry of Trade teams, the most prominent of which were the Orosdi-Back team and the Al-Asha team. Al-Iktisad gained promotion to the Iraqi Premier League in 1975. Al-Mina'a Sports Club () is an Iraqi multi-sport club based in Al-Maqal, Basra that participates in the Iraq Stars League, the top tier of Iraqi football. It is one of the most popular clubs in Iraq, particularly in the south, and became the first club outside Baghdad to win the Iraqi Premier League. Al-Mina'a was founded on November 22, 1931, in Al-Maqal.
