Juventus FC, Juventus Football Club had their least successful season since finishing 12th in the Serie A back in 1961–62 Serie A, 1961–62. This time, under Luigi Maifredi's coaching, Juventus finished 7th, despite breaking the World football transfer record, world record in terms of transfer fee, to bring in A.C. Fiorentina, Fiorentina star striker Roberto Baggio. Being long involved in the Scudetto race, Juventus lost the plot in the second half of the season, barely winning a match in a ten-game spell, which caused the side to drop down to the upper midfield. Stefano Tacconi
Stefano Tacconi (; born 13 May 1957) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is the only goalkeeper to have won all international club competitions, a feat he managed during his time with Juventus. At international level, he was largely used as a back-up goalkeeper behind Walter Zenga, which earned him the nickname "the best back-up keeper in the world". He was a member of the Italy squads that took part at the 1988 Summer Olympics, UEFA Euro 1988, and the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Daniele Fortunato (born 8 January 1963) is an Italian professional football coach and a former player, who played as a midfielder. Playing career Fortunato was born in Samarate. He played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, and had a rather successful career in the Italian top flight level. After beginning his career with Legnano, he later played for L.R. Eugenio Corini
Eugenio Corini (born 30 July 1970) is an Italian professional football coach and former player. A talented, dynamic, and hard-working playmaker, known for his precise long passing, flair and his ability to orchestrate his team's attacking moves or provide assists for teammates, Corini usually played either as an attacking midfielder or as a deep lying playmaker in midfield. Angelo Alessio
Angelo Alessio (born 29 April 1965 in Capaccio) is an Italian football manager and former player. Playing career A central midfielder, Alessio started his professional career with then-Serie A club Avellino in 1984. He was then signed by Italian powerhouse Juventus in 1987, with whom he played until 1992 (except for a season loan at Bologna in 1988–89), winning a Coppa Italia–UEFA Cup double in 1990. He then moved to Serie A club Bari, before to join Cosenza in the Serie B and then returning to Avellino (now in Serie C1) in 1997. He ended his career in 1998 after a season with Modena. Michele Serena (; born 10 March 1970) is an Italian football manager, and former football defender, most recently in charge as manager of Serie C club Legnago. He usually played as a right-back, although he was capable of playing on either flank. Playing career Serena started his playing career with Mestre of Serie C2, then become Venezia following a merger. Nicolò Napoli (born 7 February 1962) is an Italian professional football manager and former player. Coaching career Napoli was born in Palermo. A former professional player with several Serie A teams, including Juventus FC, he moved to Romania in 2007 to work as a manager with Liga I outfit Universitatea Craiova. On 5 July 2009, he then accepted an offer from another Liga I club, FC Brașov, only to leave it three weeks later due to family issues. Dario Bonetti (; born 5 August 1961) is an Italian football manager and former player. Club career Born in San Zeno Naviglio, Brescia, Italy, Bonetti made his professional debut during the 1978–79 season with Brescia. He then moved to Roma in 1980, and played for the ''giallorossi'' until 1986, except for a one-season spell at Sampdoria during the 1982–83 season; during his time with Roma, he won three Coppa Italia titles.
