Allan Border
Allan Robert Border (born 27 July 1955) is an Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer. A batsman, Border was for many years the Captain (cricket), captain of the Australia national cricket team, Australian team, and led his team to victory in the 1987 Cricket World Cup, the maiden world title for Australia. His playing nickname was "A.B.". He played 156 Test cricket, Test matches in his career, a record until it was passed by fellow Australian Steve Waugh. The Result In Cricket
The result in a game of cricket may be a "win" for one of the two teams playing, or a "tie". Geoff Marsh
Geoffrey Robert Marsh (born 31 December 1958) is an Australian former cricketer, coach and selector. Terry Alderman
Terence Michael Alderman (born 12 June 1956) is a former Australian international cricketer who played primarily as a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He began his first-class cricket career during the 1974–75 season with Western Australia in the Sheffield Shield and came to international prominence when he was chosen for the Australian national team to tour England in 1981. He was a poor batsman, passing fifty just once in his career and averaging barely eight in first-class cricket. He had three seasons in English county cricket, playing with Kent County Cricket Club in 1984 and 1986 and with Gloucestershire County Cricket Club in 1988. Mark Anthony Taylor (born 27 October 1964) is a former Australian cricketer and current Nine Network commentator. He was the captain of the Australian squad which finished as runners-up at the 1996 Cricket World Cup. He was Test opening batsman from 1988 to 1999, as well as captain from 1994 to 1999, succeeding Allan Border. His predominant fielding position was first slip. Greg Campbell (cricketer)
Gregory Dale Campbell (born 10 March 1964) is a former Australian cricketer who played in four Test matches and 12 One Day Internationals in 1989 and 1990. Campbell was a right arm fast bowler, and batted as a right-handed tail ender. He is the uncle of former Australian captain Ricky Ponting. Campbell's sister, Lorraine, is married to Graeme Ponting, and Ricky Ponting is their first child. Campbell made his debut in the Sheffield Shield for Tasmania in the 1986–87 season, playing just one match for the season, before missing all of the matches in the following season. Col Timmins
Colin Douglas Timmins (born 2 April 1947 in Brisbane, Queensland) was an Australian Test cricket match umpire, from Queensland. He umpired 4 Test matches between 1989 and 1993. His first match was between Australia and Sri Lanka at Brisbane on 8 to 12 December 1989, a drawn match on which the bat dominated, Tom Moody and Mark Taylor scoring centuries. Timmins' partner was Tony Crafter. Timmins' last Test match was between Australia and the West Indies at Perth on 30 January to 1 February 1993, won before lunch on the third day by the visitors by an innings and 25 runs. Leonard John King (born 31 July 1941) was an Australian Test cricket umpire from Victoria. At the international level, he umpired 6 Test matches between 1989 and 1993. His first match was between Australia and the West Indies at Sydney from 26 January to 30 January 1989, won by Australia by 7 wickets, with David Boon scoring a century and Allan Border a career-best 11 wickets and 75 runs, "an all-round performance seldom surpassed in Test cricket," according to Wisden.
