1988–89 Turkish Cup
The 1988–89 Turkish Cup was the 27th edition of the annual tournament that determined the association football Süper Lig Turkish Cup () champion under the auspices of the Turkish Football Federation (; TFF). Beşiktaş J.K., Beşiktaş successfully contested Fenerbahçe S.K. (football), Fenerbahçe 1–3 in the 1989 Turkish Cup final, final. The results of the tournament also determined which clubs would be promoted or relegated. Sakaryaspor Kulübü Derneği is a Turkish professional football club playing in the TFF First League, which is the second level of Turkish football. History The club was formed in 1965 after the merger of ''Adapazarı Gençlerbirliği'', ''Adapazarı İdman Yurdu'', ''Güneşspor'' and ''Ada Gençlik''. The club is better known as Sakaryaspor. The football club is nicknamed the "Football Factory" by Turkish football scene because of the many national footballers born and raised in the city. Seydişehir is a municipality and district of Konya Province, Turkey. Its area is 1,458 km2, and its population is 65,465 (2022).
