1988–89 Harty Cup
The 1988–89 Harty Cup was the 69th staging of the Dr. Harty Cup, Harty Cup since its establishment in hurling by the Munster GAA, Munster Council of Gaelic Athletic Association in 1918. The competition ran from 5 October 1988 to 12 March 1989. Midleton CBS Secondary School, Midleton CBS were the 1987–88 Harty Cup, defending champions, however, they were beaten by Shannon Comprehensive School after a #Semi-finals, semi-final repaly. The #Final, final was played on 12 March 1989 at Cusack Park (Ennis), Cusack Park in Ennis, between St Flannan's College and Shannon Comprehensive School, in what remains their only meeting in the final. St Flannan's College won the match by 0–09 to 0–05 to claim their 14th championship title overall and a first title in 1986–87 Harty Cup, two years. Color (or colour in Commonwealth English; see spelling differences) is the visual perception based on the electromagnetic spectrum. Though color is not an inherent property of matter, color perception is related to an object's light absorption, emission, reflection and transmission. For most humans, colors are perceived in the visible light spectrum with three types of cone cells ( trichromacy). Other animals may have a different number of cone cell types or have eyes sensitive to different wavelengths, such as bees that can distinguish ultraviolet, and thus have a different color sensitivity range. Animal perception of color originates from different light wavelength or spectral sensitivity in cone cell types, which is then processed by the brain. Colors have perceived properties such as hue, colorfulness (saturation), and luminance.
