Rot-Weiß Lüdenscheid is a German association football club playing in Lüdenscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia. History The origins of the club go back to the formation of the ''Luedenscheider Fußball-Klub'' in 1908. In the aftermath of World War I, a number of local sides went through a series of mergers. Late in 1918 ''LFK'' merged with ''FC Preußen 09'' and ''SV Luedenscheider 1910'' to form ''VfB Lüdenscheid 08''. Fußball-Club 08 Homburg or simply FC Homburg is a German association football club based in Homburg, Saarland, that competes in the Regionalliga Südwest. Fortuna (, equivalent to the Greek goddess Tyche) is the goddess of fortune and the personification of luck in Roman religion who, largely thanks to the Late Antique author Boethius, remained popular through the Middle Ages until at least the Renaissance. Sportverein Sandhausen 1916 e.V., commonly known as simply SV Sandhausen or Sandhausen, is a German association football club that plays in Sandhausen, immediately to the south of Heidelberg in Baden-Württemberg. DSC Wanne-Eickel is a German association football club that plays in Herne, North Rhine-Westphalia. History The club was founded in 1954 as ''TB Eickel'' when it left Sportfreunde Wanne-Eickel, a short-lived union it had formed with ''SV Preußen 04 Wanne'', in 1950. It took on the name ''DSC Wanne-Eickel'' in 1969. In addition to a football team the club has departments for judo, model airplane flying, bowling, handball, watersports and physical fitness.
