Hans Gildemeister Bohner (born Juan Pedro Gildemeister Bohner on 9 February 1956), is a Chilean former tennis player of German ancestry, who won four singles and 23 doubles titles during his professional career. The right-hander reached his highest singles ATP ranking on 22 February 1980, when he became world No. 12. He is a former captain of the Chilean Davis Cup team. Personal life Gildemeister was born in Lima, Peru, to German parents and moved to Chile at the age of two. His father, Benito, owned a printing house and his mother, Elena, was a German teacher. Tim Gullikson
Timothy Ernest Gullikson (September 8, 1951 – May 3, 1996) was a tennis player and coach who was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin and grew up in Onalaska, Wisconsin in the United States. Gullikson was Pete Sampras' coach from 1992 to 1995. Tennis career In 1977, he won three tour singles titles and was named the ATP's Newcomer of the Year. During his career as a tennis player, Gullikson won 15 top-level doubles titles, ten of them partnering with his identical twin brother, Tom Gullikson. The brothers were runners-up in the Men's Doubles competition at Wimbledon in 1983. Tim won a total of four top-level singles titles and reached the quarter-finals of the 1979 Wimbledon Championships, beating Mike Cahill, Tomáš Šmíd, Cliff Letcher and John McEnroe in the fourth round, before losing to Roscoe Tanner. Matt Doyle (tennis)
Matthew Doyle (1954 or 1955 – 8 February 2025) was an American-Irish professional tour tennis player. His best result was reaching the fourth round of the US Open in 1982. He was also a long-time Irish Davis Cup player. After retiring from playing, he was Ireland's coach for several years. Early life and education Matthew Doyle was born in California in 1954 or 1955. He was of Irish descent. He studied economics at Yale University, graduating in 1978. Doyle played at different times basketball, golf and tennis while at university. Chris Dunk (born January 23, 1958) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Dunk did not start playing tournament tennis until the age of 14. Four years later, at 18, he was a top 10 junior in singles and doubles and won the National Junior Hardcourt Doubles title. He attended the University of California, Berkeley in the fall of 1976 on a tennis scholarship. Dunk became a two-time All-American in 1978 and 1980. In his senior year, his university tennis team was ranked #1 in the U.S. after winning the 1980 Collegiate Indoor team title. Michael Jeremy Bates (born 19 June 1962) is a British former professional tennis player. He was ranked UK number 1 in 1987 and from 1989 to 1994. He reached a career-high ATP world ranking of 54 from 17 April 1995 to 23 April 1995. Mikael Pernfors (; born 16 July 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. He reached the men's singles final at the French Open in 1986, and won the 1993 Canadian Open in Montreal. Shlomo Glickstein (; born 6 January 1958) is an Israeli former professional tennis player. He reached his career-high singles ranking of World No. 22 in November 1982, and his career-high doubles ranking of World No. 28 in February 1986. Early and personal life Glickstein was born in Rehovot, Israel, lives in Ashkelon, Israel, and is Jewish. His parents immigrated to Israel from Poland. He served in the Israel Defense Forces for three years, from the ages of 18 to 21, rising to the rank of sergeant.
