Iñaki Gastón
Iñaki Gastón Crespo (born 25 May 1963, in Bilbao) is a Spanish former professional road bicycle racer. Career During Gastón's first race as a professional the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana he won stage 2b taking his first professional victory. In the 1986 Clásica de San Sebastián Gastón made it to the line with Marino Lejarreta who he then beat in the sprint to win the race. He is one of two Basque riders to ever win the race. Gastón won the 1990 Setmana Catalana de Ciclisme beating Tony Rominger by six seconds. For the final year of his career his team merged with to form for the 1994 season. Post-Cycling Retiring from cycling after the 1994 season Gastón became a Pharmaceutical salesman. He plans to work until he is 60 then he will retire from work all together. Marino Lejarreta
Marino Lejarreta Arrizabalaga (born 14 May 1957) is a retired Spanish professional road racing cyclist. His biggest victory was capturing the 1982 Vuelta a España, a Grand Tour stage race, and he is the inaugural and record three-time winner of the Clásica de San Sebastián (1981, 1982, 1987), which is now considered a one-day classic. In 1989, Lejarreta captured the Volta a Catalunya repeating one of his first professional wins in 1980 at the same event. Career Lejarreta rode very well in the 1982 Vuelta, but initially finished 2nd to Ángel Arroyo while coming in just eighteen seconds ahead of Michel Pollentier. Following the race however, Arroyo and several other riders failed doping controls in one of the biggest scandals in Vuelta history making the young Basque rider the de facto winner of the race. He is now the manager of Spanish UCI Professional Continental outfit Fuerteventura–Canarias. He was a professional from 1982 to 1994 during which he won stages in the Tour de France, the Giro d'Italia and stages in many other stage races.
