1985–86 Toto Cup Leumit
The 1985–86 Toto Cup Leumit was the second season of the third most important football tournament in Israel since its introduction. It was held in two stages. First, the 16 Liga Leumit teams were divided into four groups. The group winners advanced to the semi-finals, which, as was the final, were held as one-legged matches. The first stage of the competition was played between 5 October 1985 and 9 November 1985, while the national team was competing in the 1986 World Cup qualification. Toto Cup
The Israel Toto Cup (, ''Gvia Ha'Toto'') is an association football tournament that features clubs in the two highest divisions in Israel: the Israeli Premier League Ligat ha'Al, Ligat Ha'Al; and the Israeli 2nd division Liga Leumit. Both of these leagues are featured separately for the Israel Toto Cup – at a distinct seasonal tournament for each of these two. They are simply referred to as ''Toto Cup Al'' and ''Toto Cup Leumit'', in many global media outlets. Ramat Gan (, ) is a city in the Tel Aviv District of Israel, located east of the municipality of Tel Aviv, and is part of the Gush Dan, Gush Dan metropolitan area. It is home to a Diamond Exchange District (one of the world's major diamond exchanges), Sheba Medical Center (the largest hospital in Israel) and many high-tech industries. Hapoel (, ) is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation.
