Tim Wilkison (born November 23, 1959) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Tennis career Wilkison was the No. 1 ranked junior in the United States and played on the tour for over 25 years. He prepped at McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee before turning pro immediately after high school. The left-hander won six singles titles, ten doubles championships, and reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 23 in September 1986. Wilkison is perhaps best known for his diving volleys at Wimbledon that earned him the nickname "Dr. Dirt". In his playing career, Wilkison had victories over Arthur Ashe, Stan Smith, Roscoe Tanner, Guillermo Vilas, Yannick Noah, Boris Becker, Jim Courier, John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, and Pete Sampras. Danie Visser (born 26 July 1961) is a former professional tennis player from South Africa. A doubles specialist, he won three Grand Slam men's doubles titles (two Australian Open and one US Open). Visser reached the world No. 1 doubles ranking in January 1990. Tennis career Visser won the first of 17 career doubles titles in 1985 at Bristol. In 1990 he won the men's doubles titles at both the Australian Open and the US Open, partnering his fellow South African player Pieter Aldrich. Brad Drewett (19 July 1958 – 3 May 2013) was an Australian tennis player and ATP official. He was the 1975 and 1977 Australian Open junior champion and the youngest player at age 17 to win the title since Ken Rosewall and John Newcombe. Rodney Harmon (born August 16, 1961) is a former ATP tennis player. Perhaps Rodney's greatest result came at the 1982 U.S. Open, during his Grand Slam debut, when he got through to the quarterfinals overcoming Rolf Gehring, Henrik Sundström, Scott Davis and Eliot Teltscher, seeded 8th, in an epic fifth set tiebreak. Stephen "Steve" Shaw (born 1 January 1963) is a former professional tennis player from England who competed for Great Britain. Career While studying sports medicine, Shaw played college tennis for the University of Alabama, from 1980 to 1982. Shaw made his first big impression on the Grand Prix tennis circuit in 1985, when he made the final four at a tournament in Marbella. He had to retire hurt during his semi-final with Horacio de la Peña. The Englishman also reached quarter-finals in the 1987 Bordeaux Open and 1988 Bristol Open. Guillermo Rivas (born 9 February 1964) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Biography Born in the Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Béccar, Rivas learned his tennis at Club San Fernando, inspired by Guillermo Vilas's 1977 US Open triumph, when Rivas was 13. He later trained at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club and turned professional in 1982. Rivas was a member of the Argentina Davis Cup squad for ties in Rome in 1983 and Atlanta in 1984, but didn't feature in either. During his professional career his ranking peaked at 116 in 1985, a year in which he made the round of 16 at the WCT Tournament of Champions in Forest Hills.
