The Serie A (), officially known as Serie A Enilive in Italy and Serie A Made in Italy abroad for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Italy and the highest tier of the Italian football league system. Established in the 1929–30 Serie A, 1929–30 season, it restructured the existing Italian Football Championship, which had been played since 1898 Italian Football Championship, 1898, into a national round-robin format alongside Serie B. It functions under a promotion and relegation system with Serie B and has historically served as the pinnacle of professional football in Italy. Udinese Calcio (; "Udinese Football") is a professional association football, football club based in Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. The team currently competes in the Serie A, the first tier of Italian football league system, Italian football. Luigi (; ) is a character created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. Giancarlo Antognoni
Giancarlo Antognoni (; born 1 April 1954) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. A skilful and creative offensive playmaker, he played most of his club career with Fiorentina, with whom they won the Coppa Italia and the Anglo-Italian League Cup in 1975. At international level, Antognoni won the 1982 FIFA World Cup with the Italy national team and represented his country at the 1978 FIFA World Cup and at the 1980 UEFA European Championship. Massimo Briaschi (born 12 May 1958) is a former Italian professional footballer and FIFA sports agent. Throughout his career he played as a forward. A hard-working and versatile player, he was capable of playing both as a striker and on the wing. He is mostly remembered for his time with Juventus, where he won several honours. Roberto Pruzzo
Roberto Pruzzo (; born 1 April 1955) is an Italian former football player and coach who played as a forward. He represented Italy at UEFA Euro 1980. Club career Born at Crocefieschi, in the province of Genova, Pruzzo made his debut in professional football for Genoa in 1973. There he remained for six seasons, scoring 57 goals in 143 matches, winning the Serie B title during the 1975–76 season, as well as the top scoring award. Pruzzo passed to Roma in 1979, for the then record sum of 3 billions liras. Here he became famous as one of the most effective Italian forwards of the 1980s, winning one scudetto during the 1982–83 season, and four Italian Cups in 1980, 1981, 1983, and 1986. Domenico Penzo (born 17 October 1953) is an Italian retired professional footballer, who played as a forward. Early life Penzo was born in Chioggia, Venice, in Veneto; he is one of seven siblings. His father was a fisherman. When he was seven, Penzo moved to Baranzate with his family. After leaving school at the age of 14, he began working as a carpenter, and then as a mechanic at his brother in-law's auto-repair shop; he initially played football with his friends and for several local teams, before pursuing a professional career in football. Alessandro Altobelli (; born 28 November 1955) is a former professional Italian footballer who played as a forward, and who won the 1982 World Cup with Italy. Nicknamed ''Spillo'' ("Needle") for his slender build, Altobelli was a prolific goalscorer and regarded as one of the greatest and most effective Italian strikers of the late 1970s and 1980s. The Serie B (), officially known as Serie BKT for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division in the Italian football league system after the Serie A. It has been operating for over ninety years since the 1929–30 season. It had been organized by Lega Calcio until 2010 and the Lega B ever since.
