Born in Summit, New Jersey, Buehning grew up in Millburn, New Jersey and attended Millburn High School, where he won the New Jersey state individual tennis championship in 1977 as a junior, his final year in high school. Josef Brabenec
Josef Brabenec Jr. (born 24 April 1957) is a Canadian former professional tennis player. Biography Brabenec, who was born in Czechoslovakia, won the Canadian national indoor singles championships in 1979. A left-handed player, he featured primarily in doubles while competing on the Grand Prix circuit in the 1980s. His best performance came at the 1982 Canadian Open, where he partnered with Ivan Lendl to reach the doubles semi-finals. He made doubles main draw appearances at both the French Open and Wimbledon. Tennis career Fromm's best result at a Grand Slam was reaching the fourth round of the 1983 French Open – Men's singles, French Open in 1983 in singles, where he lost in straight sets to world No. 1 in the world Jimmy Connors and the semifinals of the 1984 French Open doubles with Shlomo Glickstein of Israel, where they lost in five sets to Yannick Noah and Henri Leconte. Charles Darlington "Buzz" Strode Jr. (born September 5, 1957) is an American former professional tennis player. Career Strode was most successful at doubles, often playing beside his brother Morris "Skip" Strode. It was with his brother that he made the men's doubles quarter-finals at the US Open and Australian Open in 1982. His other Grand Slam quarter-final appearance in the men's doubles, at the 1985 Wimbledon Championships, was with South African Eddie Edwards.
