1981–82 Albanian Cup
1981–82 Albanian Cup () was the thirtieth season of Albania's annual cup competition. It began in August 1981 with the First Round and ended in June 1982 with the Final matches. The winners of the competition qualified for the 1982-83 first round of the UEFA Cup. Vllaznia were the defending champions, having won their fourth Albanian Cup last season. The cup was won by Dinamo Tirana. The rounds were played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregated score was tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advanced. If the number of away goals was equal in both games, the match was decided by extra time and a penalty shootout, if necessary. Football Club Dinamo City, commonly referred to as Dinamo City and colloquially known as Dinamo, is an Albanian professional football club based out of Tirana. Futboll Klub Apolonia Fier is an Albanian football club based in Fier. The club was founded on 17 June 1925 and took its name from the nearby ruins of the ancient city of Apollonia. Tirana ( , ; ) is the capital and List of cities and towns in Albania, largest city of Albania. Qemal Stafa Stadium
The Qemal Stafa Stadium (), named after Qemal Stafa (1920–1942), a World War II hero, was a national stadium and the largest football stadium in Tirana, Albania. Construction started in 1939 and the stadium was inaugurated in 1946 for the Balkan Cup, which was won by the Albania national football team. The stadium has been used for football matches of the Albanian Superliga and the national team, athletic events, and the six Albanian Spartakiads. Although it was enlarged in 1974 to accommodate up to 30,549 spectators, in the 1990s it became an all-seater stadium, and its capacity was reduced to 19,700. The stadium was demolished in June 2016 to make way for the new national stadium called the Arena Kombëtare, was constructed on the same site and opened in November 2019. Vasillaq Zëri (4 August 1952 – 25 January 2019) was an Albanian Association football, footballer of Greeks in Albania, Greek origin, who played as a Forward (association football)#Centre forward, striker. Sulejman Haxhi Mema (born 17 November 1955) is an Albanian former football player and manager of KF Tirana, Tirana Youth. He has also been head of refereeing at the Football Association of Albania. International career He made his debut for Albania national football team, Albania in an April 1983 UEFA Euro 1984 qualifying, European Championship qualification match against Northern Ireland national football team, Northern Ireland, coming on as a second-half substitute for Shkëlqim Muça. Shkëlqim Muça (born 19 March 1960) is an Albanian football coach and former player. Playing career Club He created the attacking trio Muça- Minga-Kola at Nëntori Tirana that was probably the best and most prolific attacking trio in the Albanian football at all times. All three players combined have scored around 400 goals for Tirana in little more than a decade. Muça has won several championships and Albanian cups with Tirana as a footballer and as a coach. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals " away from home" wins the tiebreaker. This is sometimes expressed by saying that away goals "count double" in the event of a tie, though in practice the team with more away goals is simply recorded as the victor, rather than having additional or 'double' goals added to their total.
