1979–80 Harty Cup
The 1979–80 Harty Cup was the 60th staging of the Harty Cup since its establishment in hurling by the Munster Council of Gaelic Athletic Association in 1918. The competition ran from 7 November 1979 to 30 March 1980. St Flannan's College unsuccessfully defended its title in the semi-finals against St Colman's College. North Monastery won in the Harty Cup final replay, 2–10 to 2–05, on 30 March 1980 in Fr Con Buckley Park, Buttevant, against St Colman's, in what was their first ever meeting in the final for their 15th Harty Cup title overall, being their first title since 1970. Color (or colour in Commonwealth English; see spelling differences) is the visual perception based on the electromagnetic spectrum. Though color is not an inherent property of matter, color perception is related to an object's light absorption, emission, reflection and transmission. For most humans, colors are perceived in the visible light spectrum with three types of cone cells ( trichromacy). Other animals may have a different number of cone cell types or have eyes sensitive to different wavelengths, such as bees that can distinguish ultraviolet, and thus have a different color sensitivity range. Tomás Mulcahy
Tomás Mulcahy (born 26 June 1963) is an Irish former hurler and Gaelic footballer who played as a right corner-forward at senior level for the Cork county team. Born in Blackpool, Cork, Mulcahy first played competitive Gaelic games during his schooling at the North Monastery. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Cork minor teams as a dual player before later joining the under-21 sides. He made his senior hurling debut during the 1983 championship. Mulcahy immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won three All-Ireland medals, five Munster medals and one National Hurling League medal. The All-Ireland-winning captain of 1990, he was an All-Ireland runner-up on two occasions. As a member of the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, Mulcahy won two Railway Cup medals. At club level he is a one-time championship medallist with Glen Rovers. CBS Sexton Street (also referred to as Coláiste Mhichíl) is a Christian Brothers secondary school located in Limerick, Ireland. The school has approximately 340 students. The current principal is Denis O'Connor, and the current vice principal is Rob Williams. History Coláiste Mhichíl was founded by Edmund Rice, a Christian Brother, to provide education for boys in Limerick city. Their numbers having declined, the Christian Brothers no longer have day-to-day involvement in the administration of the school. Instead, a lay principal and board of management manage the school with the Christian Brothers remaining as trustees. The school has been successful in soccer, having won the senior boys' FAI All Ireland soccer championship in 2007 and 2008. Clonmel GAA Ground, also called Clonmel Sportsground, is a GAA stadium located in the town of Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland. It is the home ground of St. Mary's hurling team and Gaelic football team Clonmel Commercials. It is also occasionally used by the Tipperary county football team and has hosted games in the Munster Senior Football Championship, McGrath Cup and National Football League.
