1976 Cupa României Final
The 1976 Cupa României Final was the 38th final of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. It was disputed between Steaua București and CSU Galaţi, and was won by Steaua București after a game with only one goal. It was the 12th cup for Steaua București. CSU Galaţi became the 11th team representing Divizia B that reached the Romanian Cup final. 1975–76 Cupa României
The 1975–76 Cupa României was the 38th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Steaua București against CSU Galaţi. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes in extra time, and if the scored is still tight after 120 minutes, then the winner will be established at penalty kicks. From the first edition, the teams from Divizia A entered in competition in sixteen finals, rule which remained till today. Ion Ion (footballer)
Ion Ion (born 21 June 1954) is a Romanian football manager and former player. In his coaching career he has coached several clubs from Oman, Bahrain, UAE and Qatar. He managed Steaua București for the 2017–18 season, but his contract was not renewed after the club failed to gain promotion to Liga III. Emerich Alexandru Jenei (also known as Emeric Jenei or Imre Jenei; 22 March 1937) is a Romanian former football player and manager. He is considered one of Romania's best managers, alongside Ştefan Kovács, Mircea Lucescu, and Anghel Iordănescu. Viorel Năstase (born 7 October 1953) is a Romanian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Viorel Năstase was born on 7 October 1953 in București, Romania and started to play football in the 1969–70 Divizia B season for Progresul București. In the following season he made his Divizia A debut on 7 October 1953 in a 2–1 away loss against Farul Constanța, having scored a total of 9 goals by the end of the season, being partner in the team's offence with Mircea Sandu.
