Raúl Alfredo Magaña Monzón (24 February 1940 – 30 September 2009) was a Salvadoran footballer and manager. Club career Magaña made his debut aged 18 against Deportivo Saprissa in Costa Rica, coming on as a sub for Humberto Pérez. He played for several Salvadoran top level sides, most prominently for hometown club FAS, and also had spells in Guatemala and Canada. He finished his career with Alianza in January 1975. During his stay at USAC, he earned himself an economy degree. Juan Ramón "Mon" Martínez (20 April 1948 – 4 August 2024) was a Salvadoran association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Martínez played in Guatemala, where he won a title with C.S.D. Municipal, Municipal in 1965–66. International career Martínez represented his country at the 1968 Summer Olympics, Salvador’s only participation to the Football at the Summer Olympics, Olympic Football Tournament, playing three games and scoring Salvador’s first ever goal (out of 2) in the Olympics and the 1970 FIFA World Cup in Mexico. Cesar Acevedo (born 5 September 1953) is a retired football player from El Salvador and currently head coach of Nuevo San Sebastian. Career Acevedo spent his entire playing career at FAS in the primera division scoring 47 goals. He was part of the FAS squad that won the 1979 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. The Segunda División de El Salvador (Second Division of El Salvador) is the second tier of football in El Salvador governed by the Federación Salvadoreña de Fútbol (FESFUT). Teams contest to promote to the Primera División. The winning sides of the annual Apertura and Clausura contest each other, the winner directly promotes to Primera División.
