The 1975–76 National Football League was the 45th staging of the National Football League (NFL), an annual Gaelic football tournament for the Gaelic Athletic Association county teams of Ireland. Dublin defeated Derry in the final. Tony Hanahoe
Anthony Hanahoe (born 29 April 1945) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer, hurler and List of Gaelic football managers, Gaelic football manager. His National Football League (Ireland), league and All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, championship career at senior level with the Dublin county football team, Dublin county team spanned sixteen seasons from 1964 to 1979. Born in Clontarf, Dublin, Clontarf, Hanahoe excelled at both Gaelic football and hurling in his youth. He was educated at St. Joseph's Secondary School Fairview, where he first developed his skills in both codes. Hanahoe joined the St Vincents GAA, St Vincent's club and, after progressing through the juvenile and underage grades, was a regular member of the starting fifteen by 1964. He won the first of eleven Dublin Senior Football Championship, county senior championship medals that year. The Offaly county football team represents Offaly in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Offaly GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association.
