The 1974–75 season was Real Madrid Club de Fútbol's 72nd season in existence and the club's 43rd consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish football. Summary The club clinched its 16th League title with a massive 12 points gap above runners-up Real Zaragoza catching the first spot early since round 6 of the tournament. Luis Molowny
Luis Molowny Arbelo (12 May 1925 – 12 February 2010) was a Spanish football player and coach. A midfielder, he amassed La Liga totals of 175 matches and 90 goals during 12 seasons, with Real Madrid and Las Palmas. He went on to work as a manager with the two clubs, winning 12 major titles with the former in both capacities combined. Molowny represented Spain at the 1950 World Cup. For a brief period in the late 1960s, he also coached the national team. Club career Molowny was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands. His surname originated from County Clare in Ireland, where it is now most often spelt Maloney. He trialled for CD Tenerife as a youngster, but was not allowed to play in the scouting match. Vicente del Bosque González, 1st Marquess of Del Bosque (; born 23 December 1950) is a Spanish retired football manager and former player. He is regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time and is to date the only football manager to have won the World Cup, the Champions League, the European Championship and the Intercontinental Cup. José Antonio Camacho
José Antonio Camacho Alfaro (; born 8 June 1955) is a Spanish former football left-back and a former manager. He spent 15 professional years at Real Madrid, appearing in more than 500 official matches with the team and helping win 19 major titles, including nine La Liga championships. Subsequently, he embarked in a lengthy manager career, which included two very brief spells with his main club. Camacho earned more than 80 caps with Spain, representing the country in two World Cups and as many European Championships. Oscar Antonio Más (born October 29, 1946) is an Argentine former football striker. He played the majority of his career for River Plate, and is the club's second highest goalscorer of all time. He was born in the city of Villa Ballester in the Buenos Aires Province of Argentina. He made his debut in the Argentine First Division at the age of 17 in 1964, with River Plate. He would go on to win two titles with River Plate, both the titles contested in 1975. He was twice the top scorer in the Argentine Primera and once top scorer in the Copa Libertadores. Ramón Moreno Grosso (8 December 1943 – 13 February 2002) was a Spanish football forward and manager. He spent 12 La Liga seasons with Real Madrid, appearing in 366 competitive matches (75 goals scored) and winning 11 major titles, including the 1966 European Cup.
