Buster Harvey
Frederick John Charles "Buster" Harvey (April 2, 1950 – November 25, 2007) was a Canadian ice hockey player who played 407 games in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota North Stars, Kansas City Scouts, and Atlanta Flames between 1970 and 1977. Playing career A native of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Harvey moved to Ontario as a youth and played junior with the Hamilton Red Wings of the Ontario Hockey Association before being selected by the North Stars in the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft. Making his NHL debut that year, he played four seasons with the North Stars before being traded to Atlanta. Early into his second season with the Flames Harvey was traded to Kansas City, who subsequently traded him to Detroit, where Harvey spent the final part of his career, retiring in 1978 after one season in the minor American Hockey League. Jerry Byers
Jerry William Byers (March 29, 1952 – December 25, 2006) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward. Career Byers was drafted in the first round, twelfth overall, by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft. He played forty-five games in the National Hockey League: twenty-four with the North Stars in the 1972–73 and 1973–74 seasons, fourteen with the Atlanta Flames in the 1974–75 season, and seven with the New York Rangers in the 1977–78 season. He left North America in 1980 to join HC Salzburg in the Austrian Hockey League. He then spent two seasons in Switzerland's National League B for EHC Grindelwald before finishing his career in the Japan Ice Hockey League for Jūjō Ice Hockey Club. John Flesch
John Patrick Flesch (born July 15, 1953 in Sudbury, Ontario) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. He was drafted by the Atlanta Flames in the fifth round, 69th overall, of the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft. He played 124 National Hockey League games with the Minnesota North Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Colorado Rockies. Minnesota North Stars
The Minnesota North Stars were a professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 26 seasons, from 1967 to 1993. The North Stars played their home games at the Met Center in Bloomington, Minnesota, and the team's colors for most of its history were green, yellow, gold and white. The North Stars played 2,062 regular season games and made the NHL playoffs 17 times, including two Stanley Cup Finals appearances, but were unable to win the Stanley Cup, losing to the New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins in 1981 and 1991, respectively. Nicholas Gerald Beverley (born April 21, 1947) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and coach. Beverley played over 500 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) and later coached in both the NHL and American Hockey League (AHL). Career Beverley played for the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars, and Colorado Rockies, totalling 18 goals, 94 assists for 112 total points in 501 games played. He scored his first NHL goal as a member of the Boston Bruins in his team's 6-0 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on January 14, 1973 at Boston Garden. It was the only goal Beverley scored as a Bruin. Vic Hadfield
Victor Edward Hadfield (born October 4, 1940) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played sixteen years in the National Hockey League (NHL), spending thirteen with the New York Rangers and three with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Early career Hadfield played all of his minor hockey in Oakville before moving to the Dixie Bee Hives for one season. He was signed by the Chicago Black Hawks and assigned to their junior league affiliate, the St. Catharines Teepees of the Ontario Hockey League. He established himself as a physical presence, tallying many more penalty minutes than points.
