1974–75 Hong Kong FA Cup was the first staging of the Hong Kong FA Cup. Seiko Sports Association () were one of the most popular and successful football teams in the history of football in Hong Kong. The team withdrew from the Hong Kong First Division League after the 1985–86 season. History Seiko was a team sponsored and named by the agents of Seiko Corporation who entered the team into the Hong Kong Third Division in 1970. They finished runners up in the Third Division (B) League with a record of 26 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss from 28 matches and won promotion into the Second Division in the following season. In 1971–72, the team captured the league title immediately after its promotion with a record of 21 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses and were thus promoted to the Hong Kong First Division for the first time. Led by four time Hong Kong Footballer of the Year Wu Kwok Hung, the team then stayed in the top flight for 14 consecutive years until they folded in 1986, following significant declines in crowd attendance. Derek Currie
Derek Currie was a Scottish-born Hong Kong former footballer who was one of the first of three professionals to play in Asia when Hong Kong introduced professional football in 1970. Club career Currie along with fellow Scotsmen, Walter Gerrard and Jackie Trainer first arrived in Hong Kong in September 1970 where they joined Hong Kong Rangers. Currie was the first overseas professional to score in an International for the Hong Kong National side. During a three-month spell in San Antonio for the San Antonio Thunder in the NASL, Currie scored the official first goal in the Bicentennial League against St. Louis All-Stars, He scored both goals in their 2–1 win at the Alamo Stadium. Wu Kwok Hung (; 22 May 1949 – 15 June 2015), nicknamed "Big Head", was a former Hong Kong professional football (soccer), football player. Club career Wu played in the Hong Kong First Division League for teams including Tung Sing FC, Tung Sing, South China AA, South China and Seiko SA, Seiko as a midfielder (football), midfielder. Wu joined Tung Sing FC, Tung Sing in 1968 and played in the team for 3 years. In 1971–72, he played with South China AA, South China. Hong Kong Stadium
Hong Kong Stadium is the main sports venue of Hong Kong. Redeveloped from the original Government Stadium, it reopened as Hong Kong Stadium in March 1994. Tsuen Wan (football)
Tsuen Wan is a football team which is now an associate member of HKFA which does not participate in any division of the existing league. It is different from the Tsuen Wan team which participates in the Hong Kong Third 'District' Division League. The team entered the formed Third Division League in 1969–70. In the next season, the team was promoted to Second Division and captured the title immediately. In 1971–72, the team played its first First Division League season. It is the second team which got promoted from Third Division to First Division after Yuen Long. However, it relegated to Second Division again immediately in that season (26 matches played: 7 wins, 7 draws, 12 losses, 21 points). In 1980–81, the team was promoted to First Division again by finishing a second place in the last season.
