Mersin İdmanyurdu (also ''Mersin İdman Yurdu'', ''Mersin İY'', or ''MİY'') Sports Club; located in Mersin, east Mediterranean coast of Turkey in 1971–72. The 1971–72 season was the fifth season of Mersin İdmanyurdu (MİY) football team in Turkish First Football League, the first level division in Turkey. They finished seventh in the league. Mersin İdmanyurdu
Mersin İdman Yurdu was a Turkish sports club from Mersin, Turkey in the eastern Mediterranean Region. The team played in the Turkish first division for 15 seasons, and after the 1983–84 season the football team played in the Turkish second and third divisions. The team was promoted to the Turkish second level division after the 2008–09 season. Eskişehirspor Kulübü is a Turkish football club located in Eskişehir. Founded in 1965, Eskişehirspor competed in the top division of Turkish football for 16 years until they were relegated. Doğan Babacan (30 November 1929 – 18 May 2018) was a Turkish football referee. He was the first Turkish referee to supervise a match in FIFA World Cup history. Babacan was born in Istanbul.
