Mersin İdmanyurdu (also ''Mersin İdman Yurdu'', ''Mersin İY'', or ''MİY'') Sports Club; located in Mersin, east Mediterranean Region, Turkey, Mediterranean coast of Turkey in 1970–71. The 1970–71 Turkish First Football League, 1970–71 season was the fourth season of Mersin İdmanyurdu (MİY) football team in Turkish First Football League, the first level division in Turkey. They finished eleventh in the league. They also took place in Turkish Cup and eliminated at second round. Mehmet Karamehmet was president. Erol Tarhan was general captain. Mersin İdmanyurdu
Mersin İdman Yurdu was a Turkish sports club from Mersin, Turkey in the eastern Mediterranean Region. The team played in the Turkish first division for 15 seasons, and after the 1983–84 season the football team played in the Turkish second and third divisions. The team was promoted to the Turkish second level division after the 2008–09 season. MİY became the champions of the Turkish second division during the 2010–11 season and earned promotion to the Turkish Süper Lig during the 2011–12 Süper Lig, 2011–12 season. Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium
The Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium () was the main stadium of Ankara and was used by Gençlerbirliği and Ankaragücü as their home venue, until its closure in 2018. It was built in 1930 and is part of the 19 Mayıs Sports Complex, which is located in the Ulus district. The stadium had a capacity of 19,209 (all-seater). Ankaraspor also used the stadium until they moved to their new venue in the Yenikent district. The stadium was named after the date May 19, 1919, when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk arrived at Samsun to start the Turkish War of Independence. Official ceremonies to celebrate the May 19th Youth and Sports Day were also held at the stadium. In August 2018, demolition of the stadium began in order to make way for a new stadium to be built on the site. İzmir Alsancak Stadium
The Alsancak Mustafa Denizli Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in İzmir, Turkey used mostly for football (soccer), football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 15,000 and was built in 1929. In 1959 it hosted Turkey's first-ever premiere league game. The stadium is owned by Ministry of Youth and Sports (Turkey). Cemil Turan
Cemil Turan (born 1 January 1947) is a former Turkish football player and the current director of Fenerbahçe S.K. Academy. Career He debuted at Sarıyer G.K. when he was 14. He transferred first to Istanbulspor and then to Fenerbahçe, where he won 3 league championship titles (1974, 1975, 1978). He was three times league topscorer with 14 goals in 1974 and with 17 goals in 1976 and 1978. He scored 194 lifetime goals. Turan scored 19 goals at his 44 games with the Turkey national football team between 1969 and 1979. He ranks 4th with this notable performance still today. After his retirement in 1980, Turan served at various administrative positions first in Istanbulspor and then in Fenerbahçe. He is currently coordinator for the sporting infrastructure of Fenerbahçe. İlkadım Athletics Stadium () is a track and field facility located in İlkadım district of Samsun Province, northern Turkey. It was renovated for the 2017 Summer Deaflympics. The stadium is situated at Liman Mah., Atatürk Boulevard 93 in İlkadım. The athletics stadium was built in place of a former 1,500-seat football stadium, which was built in 1958. The old stadium was renovated and brought to International Association of Athletics Federations, IAAF standards by adding a synthetic-surface track in 2001. The area for athletics events totaled to .
