Miroslav Bošković
Miroslav Bošković (; 3 January 1947 – 17 August 2023) was a Serbian footballer who played as a defender. He was capped six times for the Yugoslavia national team. Club career Nicknamed "Galeb", he began his career playing in NK Zadar from where he moved to HNK Hajduk Split. In 1973, he signed with FK Partizan and two years later he moved to France to play with Angers SCO. He also worked two years as sports correspondent from France for Slobodna Dalmacija before returning to Yugoslavia and finishing his career playing with FK Sinđelić Beograd. International career Bošković made his debut for Yugoslavia in a June 1968 friendly match against Brazil, coming on as a 67th-minute substitute for Miroslav Pavlović, and earned a total of 6 caps (no goals). Slaven Zambata
Slaven Zambata (24 September 1940 – 29 October 2020) was a Croatian professional football player best known for his time at Dinamo Zagreb in the 1960s, for whom he appeared in 171 Yugoslav First League matches. He was also a Yugoslav international, scoring 21 goals in 31 matches for the national side. Club career Zambata started playing football at his hometown club Junak Sinj and was signed by Dinamo Zagreb in 1959, at the age of eighteen. He stayed with the Croatian powerhouse until 1969, and during this time earned a total of 393 appearances and scored 267 goals (93 of which in the Yugoslav First League). He won four Yugoslav Cups with Dinamo (in 1960, 1963, 1965 and 1969) and also captained the team to their triumph in the 1966–67 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in a campaign that saw Zambata scoring six goals. Josip Gucmirtl
Josip Gucmirtl (16 March 1942 – 24 November 2009) was a Croatian football player. Gucmirtl first started playing for his hometown club NK Osijek before coming to Croatian powerhouse Dinamo Zagreb in 1965. Gucmirtl played as a striker for Dinamo throughout the remainder of his career, appearing in a total of 409 matches and scoring 109 goals for the Blues (including 191 appearances and 54 goals in the Yugoslav First League). He is mainly remembered for being a member of Dinamo's ''Golden Generation'' which won the 1966–67 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, the club's only European silverware in history. Penalty Shootout (association Football)
In association football, a penalty shoot-out (previously known as kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) has expired. For example, in a FIFA World Cup, penalties are used in elimination matches; the round of 32, the round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and the final. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different players; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. OFK Bačka (Serbian Cyrillic: ОФК Бачка) is a football club based in Bačka Palanka, Serbia, that competes in the Serbian League Vojvodina. FK Bor (Serbian Cyrillic: ФК Бор) is a football club based in Bor, Serbia. History Early Years (1920s to 1960s) The club was founded in 1919 as a Serbian-French sports society under the name Association Sportive Bor (ASB). The club was financed by the French Society of the Bor Mines and managed by a Frenchman named Loren, the director of mechanical services in Bor mining company.
