1966–67 Yorkshire Cup
The 1966–67 Yorkshire Cup was the fifty-ninth occasion on which the Yorkshire Cup competition had been held. Hull Kingston Rovers won the trophy by beating Featherstone Rovers by the score of 25-12. The match was played at Headingley, Leeds, now in West Yorkshire. The attendance was 13,241 and receipts were £3,482 This was the first of two successive victories for Hull Kingston Rovers. Old Craven Park
Old Craven Park was a rugby league and greyhound racing stadium in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Rugby league Hull Kingston Rovers moved from Craven Street in East Hull to a new ground called Craven Park in 1922. The club had purchased a site behind the tram and bus depot on the eastern end of Holderness Road by Aberdeen Street at a cost of £18,281 and it hosted its first game on 2 September 1922. The ground staged an Ashes series test in 1929 with Australia defeating Great Britain 31–8 in front of 20,000 fans. In the early 1970s Hull Kingston Rovers purchased a site at Winchester Avenue with the aim of building a new stadium there. These plans never came to fruition and the site was later sold to a private developer. Belle Vue, also known as the DIY Kitchens Stadium for sponsorship reasons, in Wakefield, England, is the home of Rugby League club Wakefield Trinity RLFC and, previously, Association Football club Wakefield A.F.C. Bramley RLFC was a rugby league club from the Bramley area of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England, that folded following the 1999 season. The club is a famous name in rugby league, having existed before the formation of the Northern Union in 1895. The traditional nickname for the club was 'the Villagers'. The Boulevard was a multi-purpose stadium in Kingston upon Hull, Hull, England, from 1895 to 2010. The venue primarily hosted rugby league matches, Motorcycle speedway, speedway and greyhound racing. History Rugby league In the past the ground was used mostly for rugby league matches and was the home stadium of Hull F.C. before the opening of KC Stadium.
