The 1963–64 season was FC Dinamo București's 15th season in Liga I, Divizia A. Dinamo realizes the first double in history. In addition to authoritarian rule in the championship, which they won for the third consecutive time, Dinamo wins the Romanian Cup, after beating Steaua Bucharest in the final. In the European Cup, Dinamo meets the multiple champions Real Madrid. Traian Ionescu
Traian Ionescu (17 July 1923 – 4 October 2006) was a Romanian football goalkeeper and coach. Club career Ionescu was born on 17 July 1923 in Văleni, Argeș County, Romania and started to play junior level football at age 13 at TC Târgoviște where he stayed until 1939. Afterwards he went to play for Sporting Club Pitești, Vulturii Textila Lugoj and Sportul Muncitoresc Găvana before arriving at Juventus București where he made his Divizia A debut on 6 April 1947, being used by coach Emerich Vogl in a 4–1 victory against Libertatea Oradea. In 1949 he was transferred by CCA București where he helped the team win the first title in its history in the 1951 Divizia A season, being used by coach Gheorghe Popescu I in 5 games, he also helped the team win three Cupa României but played in only one final in 1949 when coach Francisc Ronnay used him in the 2–1 victory against CSU Cluj. FC Bihor Oradea (1958)
Fotbal Club Bihor Oradea (), commonly known as Bihor Oradea or simply as FC Bihor, was a Romanian professional Association football, football club based in Oradea, Bihor County. It was founded under the name of ''Crișul Oradea'' in April 1958 and from 1963 it continued the football tradition of the city, following the dissolution of Club Atletic Oradea. In the 57 seasons spent in the Romanian football league system, FC Bihor played 18 seasons in the Liga I, first division, 39 seasons in the Liga II, second league and only 5 seasons in the lower leagues, respectively 4 in the Liga III and only one season, its first, in the Liga IV, fourth tier. Carol Creiniceanu
Carol Creiniceanu (1 February 1939 – 14 January 2012) was a Romanian footballer who played as a midfielder. He was part of the Romanian team that reached quarterfinals at the 1964 Summer Olympics. International career Creiniceanu played three games and scored one goal at international level for Romania, making his debut on 9 October 1963 when coach Silviu Ploeșteanu used him to replace Ion Haidu in the 32nd minute of a friendly which ended 0–0 against Turkey. His following game was also against Turkey, a 3–0 victory at the 1966 World Cup qualifiers in which he scored the final goal. His last game for the national team was a friendly which ended 1–1 against Yugoslavia. Radu Nunweiller
Radu Nunweiller (born 16 November 1944) is a former Romanian central midfield football player and manager. He had an Austrians, Austrian father named Johann Nunweiller, who settled in Piatra Neamț after World War II where he met his wife, Rozina, later they moved from Piatra Neamț to Bucharest. He had six brothers, the oldest one of them, Constantin was a water polo player and the other five: Dumitru, Ion Nunweiller, Ion, Lică Nunweiller, Lică, Victor and Eduard were footballers, each of them having at least one spell at FC Dinamo București, Dinamo București. Octavian Popescu (footballer, Born 1938)
Octavian Popescu (born 25 April 1938) is a Romanian former footballer and coach known in Germany and Turkey as Popi or Pope. Popescu acquired his coaching license at the German Sport University of Cologne and also worked as a coach instructor for the DFB Academy in Germany. He is one of the founders of the IFTA International Footballtennis Association. Career Born in Bucharest, Popescu started playing football for FC Rapid București. He joined Ştiinţa Cluj before moving to FC Dinamo București, where he won the league title twice with the club. He also played for CS Jiul Petroşani before returning to FC Rapid București in 1968. Popescu next moved to Turkey to join Mersin İdmanyurdu SK. He made 30 appearances in the Süper Lig during the 1969–70 and 1970–71 seasons. Fotbal Club Politehnica Timișoara (), commonly known as Politehnica Timișoara or simply Poli Timișoara, was a Romanian Association football, football club from Timișoara, Timiș County, established in 1921 and dissolved in 2012.
