FIFA World Cup
The FIFA World Cup, often simply called the World Cup, is an international association football competition contested by the senior List of men's national association football teams, men's national teams of the members of the ' (FIFA), the sport's global governing body. Helmut Haller
Helmut Haller (; 21 July 1939 – 11 October 2012) was a German footballer who played as a forward. At international level, he represented West Germany at three World Cups. At club level, he played in both Germany and Italy, and won Italian league titles with Bologna and Juventus. Club career In his club career, Haller played from 1948 until 1962 for BC Augsburg, before being lured to Italy by a one off fee of 750,000 Marks and an annual salary of 200,000 Marks. Back then in Germany player salaries were officially limited to 500 Marks per month – an amount that rose to 2500 Marks after the introduction of the Bundesliga as unified first division in 1963. Jim McLaughlin (footballer)
James Christopher McLaughlin (born 22 December 1940) is a Northern Irish former footballer and was later a football manager in the League of Ireland. Playing career The 16-year-old McLaughlin made his Irish League debut for home-town club Derry City in the 1957–58 season. He scored in his first match, against Crusaders, and was his club's top scorer, with 16 goals, in that debut season. He joined English First Division club Birmingham City as an apprentice in the summer of 1958. After two years of reserve team football he moved on to Shrewsbury Town. In his first season there McLaughlin netted twenty goals for his club. Having gained three youth caps with Derry City his efforts at Shrewsbury did not go unnoticed by the IFA and he was capped by them twice at under-23 level. West Berlin

Richard Kreß
Richard Kress (alternative writing Richard Kreß) (6 March 1925 – 30 March 1996) was a German footballer. He played for Eintracht Frankfurt from 1953 until 1964 as a typical right winger. He won the German championship in 1959 and played in the European Cup final in 1960 which was lost to Real Madrid 3–7 on 18 May at Hampden Park in Glasgow in front of 135,000 spectators. Kress scored the first goal of the match. Kress also worked in a chemist's shop with his wife in Frankfurt. He could be regularly met on his way to the Eintracht training facility in Riederwald on line 18. He was capped nine times for Germany between 1954 and 1961 contributing two goals. Jimmy McIlroy
James McIlroy (25 October 1931 – 20 August 2018) was a Northern Ireland international footballer, who played for Glentoran, Burnley, Stoke City and Oldham Athletic.
