1961–62 Coppa Italia
The 1961–62 Coppa Italia was the 15th Coppa Italia, the major Italian domestic cup. The competition was won by Napoli, who defeated SPAL in a one-legged final played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. This was (and, to this day, still is) the first time a team playing in Serie B won the domestic cup of Italy. First round Serie B teams. Società Polisportiva Ars et Labor, commonly referred to by the acronym SPAL (), is a professional football club based in Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. During the 2024–25 season the team played in Serie C, the third tier of the Italian football league system. Founded in 1907, since 1928 they have played their home matches at Stadio Paolo Mazza, named after Paolo Mazza (chairman of the club 1946–1977).
