The 1959–60 Yugoslav First League season was the 14th season of the First Federal League (), the top level association football league of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946. Yugoslav First League
The Yugoslav First League ( Bosnian: Prva savezna liga u fudbalu, sr-Cyrl-Latn, Прва савезна лига у фудбалу, Prva savezna liga u fudbalu, , , , , ) was the premier football league in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (1918–1941) and Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1945–1992). The First League Championship was one of two national competitions held annually in Yugoslavia, the Yugoslav Cup being the other. The league became fully professional in 1967. Kingdom of Yugoslavia (1923–1940) This was the first club competition on a national level for clubs from Kingdom of Yugoslavia (named the ''Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes'' until 1930). Građanski nogometni klub Dinamo Zagreb (), commonly referred to as simply Dinamo Zagreb (), is a Croatian professional football club based in Zagreb. Fudbalski klub Velež Mostar ( sh-Cyrl, Фудбалски клуб Beлеж Мостар; English language, English: Football club Velež Mostar) is a professional football (soccer), football club based in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
