The 1958–59 Regional Championship was the 17th season of the Regional Championship, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The promotion play-off did not take place this season as Divizia C was shutting down and no teams were promoted. Liga IV
Liga IV is the fourth level of the Romanian football league system and is run in all 41 counties and in the Municipality of Bucharest. It was known as the Regional Championship, County Championship, Divizia C – County Phase and Divizia D. Its name was changed into Liga IV before the start of the 2006–07 season. In the beginning, matches were played in a cup-style system, with participating teams primarily coming from the Muntenia region, especially from Bucharest and Ploiești. Club Sportiv Municipal Roman, commonly known as CSM Roman, is a Romanian football (soccer), football football team, team based in Roman, Romania, Roman, Neamț County, currently competing in Liga IV Neamț, Liga IV – Neamț County, the fourth tier of Romanian football.
